When I first mentioned to friends that we would be holidaying in the Isle of Wight this June, everyone insisted we should go and visit Blackgang Chine because Jack would love it. It’s been over a month since we got back and I’ve got numerous photos of our time away but I thought I’d share the pictures from our day at Blackgang Chine.
Jack absolutely adored the place although he wasn’t too keen on some of the bigger dinosaurs or the Rumpus mansion. There were a trillion and one things he did like there though and we will definitely be visiting again, should we go to the Isle of Wight for another holiday.
Jack especially loved finding Captain Jack’s “Look, its my name Mummy!”.
We all really enjoyed our day at Blackgang Chine. We did spendΒ quite a bit of money on food and in the gift shop but it was well worth it. We had a really enjoyable day and there was plenty for Jack to do, despite him still being quite young. I would definitely visit again.

This looks like a fantastic place to visit. My children would have loved the dinosaurs. It’s great that Jack has his name in one of the signs-very special π
We have never been to the IOW. It looks like a great place to visit and a perfect family adventure for all

I went to the Isle of White as a child and think we may have visited here. It looks amazing fun for the kids and grown ups too!
What a fun day!! Jack has gotten so big and looks more and more like you everyday!
That looks like such an awesome day out…So much to see and do x
It looks great, the slides look epic. I think my daughter might get a little scared about some of the dinosaurs too, but I’d still love to visit. Great pictures

wow, this brings back memories. I went to the Blackgang Chine with my little brother…38 years ago!! (eeek) I remember the dinosaurs and the cowboy village. We locked up all the adults in a gaol. I’d love to take my kids there.

Ahhh I went to the Isle of Wight and Blackgang Chine as part of my junior school trip, many, many years ago!! Ahh the memories xx

Oh what a wonderful place to visit, sounds like you all had such a great time. We were in the IOW not that long ago but just for the day so couldn’t quite cram this in with the two beaches and the zoo! Fab place though, loved it π
I have never been to the IOW but have heard of Blackgang Chine before without ever really knowing what it was. It looks like the sort of place Cheeky Chap would love too.
We went to Blackgang a couple of years ago. This summer we went across to the IOW to go to Robin Hill.
