Our 2021 Christmas Plans

What are your plans for Christmas this year? We haven’t got much planned really due to an impending move – we don’t want to commit to too much if we don’t know exactly where we will be for Christmas! However I thought I’d share with you some of the things we will be doing over the festive season that you may also be doing too. Plus you will also see some fabulous festive items from Aura Print if you read further.

Seeing Family

Of course, this all depends on what the Government actually decide to do. We are hoping to see both my mum and Steve’s parents over the festive period however we know this may not be possible. Steve’s parents live two hours away in Lincolnshire so it might not be a possibility which would be sad. However if we can, we definitely want to!

No matter what happens, I hope to spend time with at least a few members of my family!

Sending Christmas Cards

This year, we have some lovely Christmas cards to give out from Aura Print. They offer custom Christmas card printing and have a wide variety of designs to choose from. I opted for a specific design which you can see below. I love that the card folds out – so there is plenty of space if you are a person who writes a lot! I have previously reviewed some of Aura Print’s business cards so I had an expectation of quality before the cards arrived.

Since Aura Print specialise in business printing such as business cards, flyers and much more, it is important to note that when buying these, you will be buying a bulk order and they may come without envelopes like mine did. Aura Print ship within the UK and the US but cannot send your cards directly to recipients, they will come straight to you.

As someone who works for themselves and has many working relationships with people, a collection of custom Christmas cards are perfect for me. The greeting cards have a variety of sizes to choose from and different paper types too.

These are really good quality and the printing is exceptional! Sometimes I have come across greeting cards from other brands where the colour has slightly run but nothing like that here! The cards are also a decent size and the fold is a great addition – it provides ample space to write as much or as little as you want to!

Overall, I am very impressed by the cards and cannot wait to give some of these out! Aura Print have been trading since 2007 and their range of products is one of the largest in the UK and the US. It is clear to see why they have been trading for so long!

Watching Christmas Movies

Something we love to do is watch Christmas movies. I have my favourite which is the Muppet Christmas Carol and I watch that pretty much every year with Steve and the kids. However we have a few others that we watch every year and I love checking out new films too. We have seen a couple of new Christmas films on both Sky and the various streaming platforms that we want to check out! Have you got any you would like to recommend?

I’ve picked up a copy of the festive Radio Times so I can work out what movies I definitely want to watch!

Watching Christmas TV

As well as watching Christmas movies, I am definitely going to be watching a lot of Christmas TV. We will watch the Julia Donaldson festive programme like we always do and the Doctor Who, Death In Paradise and Ghosts Christmas specials too. There are a few other new programmes I am looking forward to watching too!

Attend A Carol Service

Last year we were unable to attend the carol service we have for quite a few years now. Our local church does Carols by Candlelight and the kids absolutely love going to them – it really makes the festive period more special. However this year it is back on – as long as people follow social distancing guidelines. The kids cannot wait and neither can I.

These are just a few of my Christmas plans for this year although we may do a few more. I am hoping to take the children to see Santa if possible too. What have you got planned for the festive season? Have you sent out any Christmas cards yet?
