When Aura Print got in touch and asked if I would like to review their printed business cards, I knew I absolutely had to. I’ve made it my aim to push my freelance site more this year and one of my goals was to get some business cards made up. The approach from Aura Print fell at just the right time so we set towards creating the perfect cards for me and my freelance work.
I wanted to keep the business cards in theme with my logo and my site in general so opted for my logo on the front with a basic wall of information on the back. Working with the team to create my perfect design, I just couldn’t wait to receive them! After seeing the tweet below, I was even more excited to receive them!
I chose the Impakt Colour Core Cards with Mediterranean Blue as my core colour. I was so impressed with them even before receiving them so was eagerly awaiting their delivery with baited breath! I wasn’t to be disappointed.
My business cards came packaged in this gorgeous hot pink box and hot pink tissue paper. Although I knew how many I had ordered, it still amazed me to see how many business cards I actually had and how well they were presented! The plastic boxes look incredible and hold them well – I’ve got one box out on my desk (I take a few out of it for my handbag every time I give a few out) and have the other two in my desk, stored nicely for when I may need them. They are stored well and I think this was a great touch.
Now onto the design:
The front is my logo from my freelance site, something I picked up on Fiverr which I was really happy with and suits me down to the ground. Knowing that my cards would be black and white, I loved that with the Impakt cards you can choose a core colour. I went for Mediterranean Blue just to add that splash of colour to them that would really get people’s attention.
The back is simple enough in design – my name, website, job role, email address and work Twitter. I do actually have another email address for work related inquiries too but since I use the address above more often, it made more sense to pop it onto the card.
What are my thoughts on my Impakt Core business cards? I am thoroughly impressed and have been singing Aura Print’s praises since I received them. Whenever I see a blogger asking where to get business cards from, I insist they visit Aura Print as I am sure they will not be disappointed! Starting from just £35, they are most certainly an affordable investment for your business.
I am very impressed and the people who I have given business cards too so far are very impressed too. I feel fantastic when handing these out, they feel very professional, great quality and durable – they’re fairly thick so not easy to rip or tear. I will definitely be purchasing from them again.
