I was recently approached by the team behind Ollie & Leila asking me if I (well, Jack) would like to review one of their products – in particular, their pirate Snuggle Sac (find it here for £45). Now you all know that Jack loves pirates if you’ve been reading my blog for a while so I knew this would be a popular item with my son – and he would love his fellow pirate loving friends to come and stay over using it.
Let me tell you, it was so difficult to get a picture where I could get the whole length in. This thing is long. It would probably fit me if I tried it! The Snuggle Sac is super soft and fleecy, very cosy and when not in use, can be rolled up into its tote bag for easy carrying or storing. It has a 100% cotton lining and has a space within the head area for a traditional pillow which I think is great – after all, we all need a pillow don’t we?
Not only that but it washes well, it can tumble dried unlike a lot of other similar products and comes with a 12 month guarantee. What’s not to love?
So what were Jack’s thoughts?
I can barely get Jack out of the thing! He adores it and even chose to go to bed in it rather than his own bed one day! He has already made a list of the friends he wants to stay round – Ben aka Em’s little boy is first on the list apparently. Whilst I haven’t got in it myself unlike Jack, I can attest the soft fleecy quality of it and it definitely seems comfy and cosy – Jack will often move around in the night and flail about and if it was uncomfortable he would be out of it like a shot but he was in it all night, zipped up and happy.
Storing it and transporting it is also easy. Whenever it is not in use, we just roll it back up and place it into the tote bag and store it away at the end of his bed by his toys. With it being already inside the bag, this makes it easier for carrying should he himself end up going to a sleepover somewhere.
Jack is very happy with his Snuggle Sac and can’t wait for all of his friends to come round and try it out. Until now, his cuddly toys are getting to enjoy the experience of sleeping in the pirate Snuggle Sac over night – and frankly, I’m quite jealous.
