With a HGV driver for a partner, a teenage boy who seems to have a bottomless stomach, an 8 year old, a 2 year old and a 9 month old, food is a BIG expense in my house. Trying to make sure we always have a steady supply of snacks is a nightmare and I often find myself telling the kids just to check the cupboard and see what is in there!
The downside to that is they often end up eating my partner’s snacks that I have got him for the road – he can sometimes be on the road for over twelve hours delivering (obviously including his breaks!) so that means he needs quite a few bits to keep him going. We also always pack emergency extras just in case he gets stuck out due to traffic – he is often driving on motorways and we all know how often they can get backed up because of congestion or accidents!
When contacted by Worldwide Global Brands to see if we’d like to try out some snacks and drinks, I had to say yes because I knew these snacks would be perfect for him and the kids wouldn’t dare touch them for fear of blowing their heads off, haha!
We were sent some Cruncheez, some Flautas and a couple of AW Drinks to try. So what did we think?

First of all the Cruncheez.
These snacks are baked, not fried and we were sent two different flavours to try, The Cheezy Jalapeno and the Fiery Hot. Steve likes hot snacks – he loves a fiery crisp and a good old hot sauce so I was intrigued to see which of these he preferred.
He quite likes the Fiery Hot but finds that too many of them can get a bit too much for the mouth – his Dad who can eat hot stuff constantly would probably not have the same problem however!
He did, however, absolutely ADORE the Cheezy Jalapeno flavour and has asked me to get some more the next time I see them in the shops! These are gluten free, free from artificial colours and suitable for vegetarians which is great. Plus I love the different portion sizes they come in!

Next up the Flautas snacks.
These came in the Blue Hot Fiery Chilli Limon and the Red Hot Fiery Chilli Limon. These are also baked not friend and are gluten free and free from artificial colours.
The snacks are tortillas which have a mixture of fiery chilli and lime seasoning, meaning they are packed full of flavour. Like the Fiery Hot Cruncheez, Steve quite enjoyed both of these flavours but found the heat can get a bit much after a while. For someone like me that doesn’t handle heat very well, these probably wouldn’t be for me but for someone like Steve’s brother or Dad, these would be the perfect snack! If you have a hot food lover in your life, these could be the perfect Christmas gift with it fast approaching.

Finally the AW Root Beer drinks. Something I could try and enjoy! I have never properly tried root beer so I was very intrigued to see these included in our package! The drinks are naturally flavoured and they tasted great! I’d definitely pick them up again if I saw them in the supermarket or convenience store.
Overall, these were an interesting selection of snacks and drinks to try – and finally, Steve doesn’t have to worry about the kids pinching some!
What would you try first?

The Crunchies look delicious – like a cheesy hot Nik Nak!
I would try the root beer but I like plain crisps lol
What fantastic snacks!! I’ve not heard of Cruncheez and Flautas but I do love that root beer!
Thanks for an honest review. I’m disappointed many foods are getting too hot so are ruled out by many.
You can tell that I no longer have children in the house because I hadn’t heard of these!
I love Cruncheez
I love firey taste – the cruncheez would go down a treat
Great ideas. They sound yummy. I love root beer.
It’s always so interesting seeing the snacks across the world
