You may know that I am one of the admins of the UK Bloggers Facebook group and have been since the very start when Sarah first had her bonkers idea. Since then it has grown into something more than we ever imagined, spawned a fantastic website that Sarah manages herself and now she has branched out into necklaces. I was one of the lucky people to get my hands on one of the first batch and of course I had to choose the #UKBloggers design, didn’t I? I was more than happy to spend my hard earned pennies on my friend’s new venture!
I have worn this on a few occasions now and let me tell you, it really is a discussion point! I love it – red is one of my favourite colours and the fact it says #UKBloggers just makes it so ‘me’ – it has such a special meaning to me for obvious reasons. I have worn it to Slimming World meetings and had compliments on it (whilst also thus informing people about my blog as they asked about it) and I will be wearing it plenty over the coming year. I love the material used – I believe this was a collaboration with Funky Laser who always impress me with their style of jewellery and this collab was a stroke of genius.
