We are now almost a week into NaNoWriMo. Out of 50,000 words, I am currently on just over 5000. I have hit a bit of a slump when it comes to writing – writing only 10 words over the past two and a half days – and I need to use today and the weekend to get back on track. I know where I want my story to go but it is just getting the words down on the page that is the problem.
November is a very busy month for me and sitting down in front of the computer isn’t helping when I am exhausted. When tired, there is nothing I would least like to do than try and tax my brain to create the perfect scenario.
This weekend, I have people who are going to kick my bum if they find me not doing anything NaNo related and I’ve now got tons of inspiration for how I am going to progress with my novel. I’ve even come up with a working title – I may not stick with the title but for now, it fits perfectly with the storyline. I’ve also seen a tweet from UK Carina asking people to send in their completed Nano work at the end of the month, if I was to get my book published by anyone, I would like it to be them so I would love to get some critique from them.
