Having previously reviewed the Magnitone Pulsar, the lovely people at Magnitone recently asked me to review the Magnitone Barefaced Cleansing Brush (£70). I was a big fan of the Pulsar and previously held a collaborative giveaway for yet another brush in their range, the Lucid, so it is safe to say I am a big fan of the brand and went in with very high expectations.
My skin has been suffering a lot lately. Due to recent stressful events, my skincare routine went out of the window and the stress meant that my combination skin did not take too kindly to this at all. With the Magnitone BareFaced cleansing brush turning up on my doorstep when it did, surely it could help me a little? I have now been using this for over a month to see how it fared.
The Magnitone BareFaced! is for all skin, has two modes and is waterproof. I tend to spend a lot of my time barefaced so the claim that this is ‘For skin that deserves to go BareFaced! wherever, whenever, this Daily Cleansing Brush will work some good vibrations to beautifully condition skin and take the ‘dare’ out of going Bare!’ really had me intrigued. Magnitone even offer a 12 month warranty which is fab!
The all-new Vibra-Sonic™ daily cleansing brush deep cleanses, empties out pores and tones skin which is just what my skin was in need of after the month it had – it needed some care and attention and surely this would be the thing to give it?
The brush came packed perfectly, the box filled with the facial brush, a wireless USB travel charger, a splashproof travel pouch, an active clean brush head, 12 Month warranty and MyMagnitone membership.
So how has my skin been faring? In December my skincare routine was all over the place and my skin suffered as a result. Multiple hospital trips for both Steve and I whilst also trying to arrange birthday stuff and Christmas stuff and keep everything normal for our little boy meant everything else just fell by the wayside. So far, whilst I am still suffering from the occasional breakout (the result of eating and drinking rubbish on my birthday when I had been eating healthily for weeks before that), it has definitely helped to calm down my skin – the redness and breakouts have calmed down and my skin feels softer again rather than bumpy from all the spots where I was breaking out from all the stress. I think a combination of healthy eating and using this brush in my skincare routine are working positively for me and long may it continue!
Have you ever tried a Magnitone cleansing brush?
