I was sent a Lily Blanche locket for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I love a nice piece of jewellery. I have mentioned before about my three most treasured pieces – a locket my Dad gave me when I was a child, a necklace I inherited when my Nan died and my engagement ring. I don’t often treat myself to new jewellery and very rarely get treated to it either so when offered the opportunity to review an item from Lily Blanche, I just couldn’t pass it up.
I chose a white gold necklace with a bird on it – I love birds and it looked really pretty online so I hoped it would look the same in person. I chose white gold as I don’t really wear gold jewellery and I have found myself gravitating towards white gold jewellery more as I get older.
Lily Blanche offer a range of personalised jewellery which is great. I chose not to choose the personalisation and left it up to the team and as you can see below where I talk about the message, they definitely chose the right message!
Lily Blanche is a company inspired by the founders grandmother, Lily Blanche Sheridan. She was encouraging and inspiring and is the motivation behind everything they make and do in the Lily Blanche Studio. They take vintage jewellery designs and give them a modern twists and there products couldn’t be more beautiful if they tried!

My necklace is a white gold vermeil bird locket. It is egg shaped and features a little bird charm. The locket is made of sterling silver and 18 carat white gold and has been hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office.
My necklace came on a 24 inch chain and is absolutely beautiful. The necklace came beautifully packaged too – in a stunning black box tied with a bow in a white branded bag, wrapped up in some tissue paper. The attention to detail simply in the packaging was really impressive so I couldn’t wait to see what the locket looked like in person.
The necklace was found in the box in a black drawstring bag which was such a lovely touch and upon pulling it out, I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. The locket even opens up to find a scroll that says ‘Find your wings‘. Such a lovely touch and something I loved.

I sometimes find necklaces can be come with too short a chain and be too tight around the neck but the chain for this necklace was the perfect size. It didn’t come up too close to my neck but also didn’t drop down onto my chest too much either – it sat perfectly where a necklace should sit.

This bird locket necklace truly is lovely. It is delicate and dainty but you can also tell it is durable and will stand the test of time. I love that it opened up to reveal a scroll and it opens and closes with ease.
I usually wear jewellery for special occasions but this is too lovely to be left for just special occasions and will certainly be worn more often – especially now the children aren’t babies so I don’t need to worry about stuff getting yanked off of my neck!
Don’t hesitate to take a look at the other jewellery available at Lily Blanche. What is your most treasured piece of jewellery?

This is a beautiful locket from Lily Blanche! Love the bird and the egg shape of the pendant!
Beautiful packaging! Love the Lily Blanche locket. Had to giggle that it wouldn’t be getting yanked off you by kids! lol
Ahh, I almost went for this myself, it was a toss-up between this and the earrings I went for. It is so stunning, I love that it has a hidden message inside it as well. Isn’t their packaging gorgeous as well? I was like I want to keep it so I can sniff it!
Just one word here – lovely! The details is nice how you get the velvet pouch and that it is sent in a bag with ribbon too. Makes this perfect and easy to gift xx
