Into another week of lockdown so here we are at week 34 of our lockdown linky. Born from an idea by Jenni and Sarah, I was super happy to come on board and take you along on the journey too. It looks like lockdown may be lifting at the beginning of December although many of us thought this wouldn’t happen. I suppose we shall have to wait and see though!
The rules for linking up with us are pretty simple. All we ask is that you link back to me and Sarah in your post as we are the hosts and then answer the questions that we too answer every week. This week we have updated the questions to fit these new times so I’d love to see a few more of you joining up. Once you’ve added your post, submit it via the Inlinkz tool at the bottom of the post!
Here are the most recent questions:
1) How are you feeling/coping?
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
3) What do you think the coming weeks and months might hold for you (or the world)?
4) If you could remind yourself something about this time in years to come what would it be?
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.
6) What is a unique (or not) technique you have used to get you through this time?
7) What is something your readers might not know about you?
8) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
So how has the past week been for me?

1) How are you feeling/coping?
I am doing okay. The thing I mentioned last week is still very much at the forefront of my mind and I still haven’t been sleeping well. Unfortunately it is just a matter of time now and I am dreading the final outcome even though I know what it is going to be.
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
I’ve been working a lot for clients, existing and new. I’ve also written quite a few blog posts, catching up on reviews and writing my Christmas gift guide for adults and the home. I’ve been reading quite a bit too and also did another murder mystery – I really do enjoy them!
3) What do you think the coming weeks and months might hold for you (or the world)?
I honestly don’t know – and I’d rather live in the moment right now.
4) If you could remind yourself something about this time in years to come what would it be?
That I was lucky to have such wonderful friends.
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.
I bought myself a new Kindle Paperwhite if that counts? I thought I’d treat myself seeing as I am always reading and my old one is knackered so I’ve been using the app on my phone!
6) What is a unique (or not) technique that you have used to get you through this time?
Virtual murder mysteries, of course!
7) What is something your readers might not know about you?
That I have the beginnings of a book written down – but haven’t got much further!
8) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
Definitely my family and friends. Much needed support in trying times.

Please do consider linking up below, I’d love to read your posts:

I am sorry you are going through what you are but having friends to support each other is so important. You should look at finishing your book x
I’ve been doing a lot of reading to get through!
I think the best thing is to live in the moment, none of us know what the future holds and worrying about it can cause us to lose control of our thoughts. I’m apprehensive about lockdown ending and going back to work cos some people don’t understand while working in retail.
It’s nice that you have treated yourself to a kindle this week. My husband loves his kindle.
I wouldnt mind getting myself a kindle paperwhite. It would be useful in the summer, as the kindle I have doesn’t like the sunlight
So glad to hear you have treated yourself to a Kindle Paperwhite. I am using my tablet to read ebooks and that does drain the batteries so been meaning to get myself a Kindle as well.
I have decided you are murder mystery obsessed. They do sound like fun though 🙂 I’m so glad things have got busier for you.
We all need something to look forward too and we’re patiently waiting the announcement on Thursday regarding tiers. I hope you manage to get some rest and sleep and aren’t too troubled x
Oh wow, the murder mystery must have been great fun. I’d love to do one myself. Good luck with the book writing!!!
Love that you’ve treated yourself 🙂 the little treats help the mood don’t they . I’ve wanted a kindle for ages . Might treat myself too! 🙂
I have not heard of a kindle paper white but it is good to treat yourself. I am stalking amazon for black friday deals
I need a new Kindle too, I use the app on my phone and it’s far too small to read.
