3 Easy Ways to Clean Your Jewellery at Home

Baking Soda Method

Who doesn’t have baking soda? Have that guaranteed clean with a salt composed with sodium cation and bicarbonate anion. 

Start by boiling a pot of water. Once the water, is hot, pour it into a bowl that will allow your choice of jewellery pieces to soak in evenly. With the hot water, pour in one to two teaspoons of baking soda.

Next, it is time to put in your jewellery! They will rest in the temperature water for fice to ten minutes. 

After, rinse your jewellery free of the mixed liquid and lay it to rest on a clean towel. Enjoy your shiny pieces that look just like new! Anytime you need a clean, reach for the baking soda in your cabinet.

Toothpaste Method

Every morning and night, toothpaste is used to clean the pearly whites of humans. Not anymore! Use the popular paste to brighten and clean your jewellery products. Keep in mind, though; pearls cannot be cleaned with this paste.

This is a straightforward way to clean your jewellery. Just squish some toothpaste onto your accessories and scrub it as you’d like. Make all your silver, gold and gemstone pieces clean and shine for the several days ahead.

This next step can take place in a couple of different ways. You can rinse the jewellery, with warm water or wipe away the toothpaste. Now, compare its presentation from the past. There’s a big difference.

Vinegar Method

Have any gold jewellery or gemstones? Wash them with white vinegar. White vinegar is a solution of acetic acid and trace chemicals. It’s great for cleaning purposes.

Fill a cup or a related item with vinegar. It should be filled enough to allow your pieces to soak. When your jewellery is completely in the vinegar, let the pieces sit for ten to fifteen minutes. 

When done, remove the pieces from the vinegar and remove the excess liquid. Lastly, if you want your accessories to have an extra clean, scrub the pieces.
