Life In A Lockdown {Linky} – Week 14

I am amazed that we are already on week 14 of this linky. It seems like yesterday we started it and I won’t know what to do myself when it is finally over!

Don’t forget to write your post up and link up with myself and Sarah– be sure to include a link to us within your post too! So how has my week been?

1) How are you feeling/coping?

I am doing ok. I mentioned that I am a bit fed up but I think we all are.

2) What are you doing to keep yourself occupied?

I kept myself very busy with some new clients and tried to find the time to slot in some reading too!

3) How are you dealing with everything at the moment – are you self-isolated, going out for essentials etc? Has this changed?

I’ve only popped to the corner shop and that’s about it! However it has been nice to see friends and family more due to the relaxed guidelines.

4) What advice do you have for others?

Although the guidelines have been relaxed, don’t be stupid. Still be vigilant!

5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.

I can’t think of anything! I’ve been quite kind to my wallet this week!

6) How has your routine been this week?

Stressful! But it has been quite strict and good!

7) Have you planned anything for once lockdown is over in the past 7 days?

We have just spoken about where we would like to go on holiday and careers, actually. No new plans about other things to do!

How has your week been?

  1. Great to hear you’ve managed to pick up some new clients during the lockdown 🙂 I have been surprised at how much work I’ve had coming in although it has gone a little quieter now.

  2. Ohh where are you thinking of going on holiday? Yay for new clients! Always good.

  3. Like you, I still haven’t ventured very far at all despite the guidelines relaxing a bit. We all have to do what we feel comfortable with 🙂 Hope you have a good week next week!

  4. That’s really good to hear you’ve got some more clients during lockdown – well done! I think it’s hard at the moment – still so much uncertainty. Thank you for running the link up with Sarah – I’m catching up on the link up too.

  6. I went back to work for a few hours this week which was good, went to the pub and got a hair cut – definitely feel like my life is changing a lot.

Sounds like you are being careful which is great and I am the same. I agree it has been lovely to catch up with family for sure xx

  8. These are going to be so interesting to look back on. I regret not writing down more about this whole experience, I don’t want to forget all the details.

  9. It sounds like you are being careful. I do think it is nice to record this, it’ll be interesting to look back on it. x

  10. It all feels surreal that things are almost back to as if nothing has happened. It is nice being able to feel a bit more normal though

  11. I am really mixed about lockdown being eased but slowly we can get back to a bit of normality which we all need at some point

  12. MARIA ROGERS says:

It still all feels a tad surreal, like we are living in a sci fi movie at the moment.
