Life In A Lockdown {Linky} – Week 13

Time again for our Life In A Lockdown linky! Week 13 already. With the latest round of announcements, will you be doing anything differently?

It seems like just yesterday Sarah came to me with the concept and I said yes, let’s do this. Credit goes to Jenni from Lyrical Host {affiliate link} too as she kickstarted the idea!

So how has my week been?

1) How are you feeling/coping?

I am doing okay. Haven’t been feeling all too well though as the change in weather has been causing some awful barometric headaches!

2) What are you doing to keep yourself occupied?

Normal stuff and also taken on some new clients so been super busy with work!

3) How are you dealing with everything at the moment – are you self-isolated, going out for essentials etc? Has this changed?

I am fed up of it all and can’t wait for it all to be over. Only popped out to the local One Stop and one visit to Costco last week,

4) What advice do you have for others?

Stay safe! Be responsible! Stick to the guidelines.

5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.

Nothing that I can think of – I have been quite good this week at not buying anything!

6) How has your routine been this week? (Question by Don’t Cramp My Style)

All over the place!

7) Have you planned anything for once lockdown is over in the past 7 days?? (Question by Don’t Cramp My Style)

Just seeing family that I haven’t seen in ages.

What would your answers be?

  1. MELANIE EDJOURIAN says:

It’s great to hear that you have had some new clients recently. It all helps given the current climate and people that have been asking for posts for free or next to nothing.

  2. Things are still slowly opening here, in phases. Some people are getting impatient, and selfish. I really believe there will be another surge sooner than later. So I’m still staying home and only going out one a week for groceries for my family and my parents.

  3. Well done on getting new clients, my routine has been awful too really hopefully things will start to get easier as things return to normal, this is what I keep telling myself

  4. Well done on the new clients. I’ve just been offered my first commissioned work after my blog hiatus. Things feel like they’re going back to a more normal state now.

  5. Melanie williams says:

Oh wow good on you for both buying anything…I need to give my credit card a rest for sure x

  6. New clients! How exciting. Things seem to be slowly creeping back to normal, but I feel like it’s all a bit early even though I am ready to start getting out and about again.

  7. Rhian westbury says:

Like you I’m a bit fed up of all of this and just want some form of normality, or rather people to be respectful. I go out and people act like nothing is going on x

  8. Looks like you have had a super busy week, hope you are feeling better and your headache improves. We have seen some normality in our household with my daughter going back to school. Also met up with my besties after nearly 4 months of not seeing her which was really nice.

  9. Great to see that you’re still being really productive in lockdown. The first time I have come across your blog but will now be regular! Really enjoyed viewing it 🙂

  10. Lynne Harper says:

I would change my answers to some of these daily depending on how I’m feeling. I’m delighted that life is moving forward but also scared if there will be another surge.

  11. Ive been busy at work etc, kids still under lockdown etc but ill be honest i think we re all getting a little bored of it all now lol, hope the weeks get better

  12. I too have been getting really bad headaches because of the weather. Pubs opened up yesterday and a few I my town were packed with people and lots of drunks. I think if they carry on we will be back in lockdown soon

  13. Well done those new clients, that is fantastic. I think we are dealing with this whole thing in different ways right now. I have to admit that I’m struggling at the moment!
