I have been planning what to get Jack for his birthday and Christmas for weeks now and number 1 on my list was a LeapFrog Read with Me Scout. Imagine my surprise when I was contacted and asked if Jack would like to review one…I could hardly say no to that, could I?
Designed to help children with their reading from ages 2-5 years, Scout is an adorable little pup who loves to sing and read with you. Jack can already read numbers 1 to 10 and the letters A, B, C, J and K (notice his name is in there!) so we are keen to help him develop further and what better way than with an interactive toy such as this?
Jack was excited as soon as he saw the box and grew even more excited when we took Scout out. He had a quick cuddle and took a look over Scout’s body to see and try all the different buttons. He then settled down to read with Scout and I honestly could have left him there for hours, he wouldn’t have noticed. He got most irate when I put Scout away so he could go for his nap!
Jack is already coming on leaps and bounds with his talking, reading and writing – he learns something new everyday and I believe that this is in part to Scout. As well as being super cuddly, Scout is a fantastic educational tool and something all families with young children should have.
