Available in a range of stunning colours, Leakproof have a variety of bottles available on their site for all your hydration needs. They recently sent me the Ion8 Leak Proof Slim Water Bottle in Aqua for review. So what did I think?
About The Bottle
The bottles are 100% leakproof and can be opened with a rapid flow mouth for quick hydration. Super easy to use, they are great for on the go and the lids open in one twist. To drink, you just pop the button and the lid flips up and you can drink!
Holding 560ml, you can see straight through the bottle and it is lightweight whilst also being easy to clean, reuse and refill. What’s even more fantastic is that the bottles are BPA free, phtalate free, are made from non-toxic TRITAN and are odour resistant – no one wants a bottle that can’t get rid of an odour, right?
Plus we’ve all had bottles that have leaked in our bags – these are all leakproof making them perfect for backpacks and even come with a handy carrying hook!
What did I think?
I’ve been using this bottle on and off for about a week now and it has been by my side through a variety of situations. I am mostly using it when working at my desk – it is so important to keep hydrated even if you are sitting down doing work. I can get so engrossed in whatever I am doing that I forget to actually take time for a break and to eat and drink.
Having this on my desk has been super handy – I can fill it with water or squash and know I must drink the whole bottle whilst there. The rapid flow mouth ensures quick hydration and I have found I can easily put away the whole bottle without even thinking about it!
I am yet to try taking it in my backpack but as I will be starting the school runs again this week, it will certainly be coming with me as well as on dog walks too. I have tested out the leakproof claim and it definitely passed all my tests. I tried tipping it up and down, I tried accidentally catching the button to see if it would flip up and leak in a bag but everything I tried, it passed the test.
This is going to be coming everywhere with me – after all, we all need to keep hydrated, right? Do you carry a water bottle around with you?

I need to get Ash a new bottle but we have been struggling to find one her likes – he’s stolen one of mine and it’s the only one he’s a fan of and they don’t make it anymore – so I’ve sent him the link to this and if he gives it the thumbs up I’ll be buying one!
I love that this bottle is one touch, there have been many times it was not the simplest thing to open a water bottle. It’s nice looking too!
This bottle sure seems perfect and love the idea it can be used for food too. Design is great especially with the grip part and like the colour of it too. May look into this as my travel to London starts soon
I do love new water bottles and love the one touch opening that actually works, I have had many moments in the past where this has not been the case

I have ion bottles for the whole family and they are amazing, they don’t leak, even when dropped
I have an ion in yellow. At first I was unsure about the feel of the bottle as it has a strange texture on the outside but love it now.
