Now You Are Going Into Year Four…

What a year it has been, eh? Missing half of year 3 due to the global pandemic was hard for you and I know you missed the stability of school and seeing your friends. Plus putting up with your sister 24/7 must have been frustrating too, haha!

Who would have known when we wrote last year’s post what was to come? You started on school lunches last year and will hopefully go back to them but they are currently only offering cold school packed lunches so we’ve opted to send you in with your own for now.

I know you can’t wait for after school clubs to be back on so you can practice your chess skills, try your hand at mini golf again and hopefully Cubs will be starting again soon!

Despite the situation, you had a wonderful report last term and I know your Year 3 teacher is gutted that she couldn’t take your class on for year 4.

I hope today has been good for you – I know you may be a little nervous and apprehensive but also a little excited. I can’t wait to see what Year 4 brings.

Have a wonderful first day of Year 4.

It goes so fast. My son is in his last year of school uniform. I can hardly belief it; his fist day seems like it was five mins ago, and the chapter is almost over. Enjoy it while you can.

They grow up so quickly, I hope all goes well with the return to school

  4. Aww, what a lovely photo. I hope he had a good first day back. We went back four weeks ago. Can’t believe mine are in P2 and P6 already!

  5. Hope he had a great day. Cubs / Scouts has started here again, but they are only going 1 in 3 weeks as they are limiting numbers

  6. I hope he had a lovely first day. I am shocked how well my son has settled in to year 3 considering it’s not only a new class but its his first time in juniors.
