Like most families, my family is spread out across the country and even across the world. This does mean that I have free accomodation should I go to visit them which is always handy. My uncle has recently suggested we go for a holiday down in Clacton as we can stay with him – I am very tempted – I am really struggling with motivation and countless other work problems so I think a holiday could be really beneficial.
Of course with Steve working the shift patterns he does, planning a holiday can be very tough. We recently floated the idea of me going on my own with Jack and perhaps my mum – Steve is actually going away by himself in August to a friends so he won’t be missing out. Him not coming also poses another problem though – travel with a toddler. i don’t drive and my parents no longer have a car. I used to use the train all the time before I met Steve so that would probably be my travel method of choice, although I am worried about travelling aIone with a toddler and loads of luggage, especially if my Mum decides not to come!
I have compared prices on the GoEuro travel website and whilst the trip won’t exactly be cheap, it will be worth it to take some time out and relax. These past few weeks have been stressful for a number of reasons and I think a holiday will definitely help. Everyone needs a break sometime and after looking up a couple of other destinations, Clacton would definitely be the cheapest overall if you factor in the free accommodation and the Clacton website shows loads of things to do. So what do you think i should do? Should I book the tickets?
Do you feel like you need a holiday right now?
