I asked Courtney if I could use a picture and then I couldn’t choose the best one…which do you think is the best?
It was great to finally meet some girls I have been talking to for years, such as Cat, and also to catch up with others like Shona. We talked, we shopped, we gossiped, we bought – typical blogger behaviour! The majority of us also bought the same body scrub from Champneys for £2.50…it smells so good!
Jack loved hanging around with all the girls – he sure did play up to the attention! There were meant to be other bloggers with babies coming but due to unforeseen circumstances, they had to pull out – Jack lavished the attention though!
So what did I buy?
I didn’t buy that much, I was preferring to save myself for a sneaky Space NK purchase but I did cave slightly in Champneys…
I, like most of the others, bought the Champneys Spa Indulgence Distant Shores Body Scrub for £2.50 – it smelt amazing and for that price, why not? I also treated myself to their featured product of the month, the Champneys Spa Treatments Watermint Lotion Spritz. I am a big fan of mint smells and this smells divine! I will be using this after showering as this is a spray on lotion, designed to help you apply it more evenly. I have already tried this and it feels so good!
When in Space NK, I knew I wanted to buy something but I didn’t know what – there were so many things I wanted and you can expect a wishlist soon (yes, Kirsty – I’m sorry!!) but I finally picked up this small 30ml bottle of the Caudalie Beauty Elixir. I have been looking for a product like this for a while now and hadn’t seen anything that really grabbed me so thought I’d treat myself and see if it is worth the much hyped reception that it gets.
I also got given a sample of a Acqua Di Parma perfume – I had been smelling the Diptyque Philosykos perfume after Sophia recommended it whilst in London and the lady at Space NK told me about this perfume, which is slightly sweeter and slightly cheaper apparently. I love this too and I am definitely thinking about adding this perfume to my wishlist!
As I mentioned earlier in the post, we may feature in the local paper – this is because we just happened to be in Lush when a photographer turned up to try and recreate Lush’s Guinness World Record Attempt the day before. If we do happen to appear, I will definitely put up a post! We were all also given a sample of a Lush cleanser; I received Herbalism and I can’t wait to try it!
It was a fantastic day and I really enjoyed myself, I can’t wait to do it again nearer Christmas time!
Have you ever been to a blogger meetup?
