We recently attended the launch day of the new Gravity Force site in St Albans, along with a few other bloggers. I don’t have many photos from the day as I wasn’t allowed to jump due to being pregnant and whilst Steve jumped with Jack and his friend Ben, he tried to get as many as he could – you can see a variety over on my Instagram.
Despite me not being able to jump and watching from the sidelines, everyone had a great day. The boys enjoyed bouncing around on the trampolines and especially loved jumping into the foam pit as you can see above. It took Steve a few attempts to get the boys away from it as they constantly kept queuing up.
The whole place and experience is meticulously planned and I cannot fault the team at all. Upon arrival you are greeted and asked if you have signed your waiver forms (to enable the children to jump). If not, someone will take you to sign them or you can head on over to the desk and let them know you have arrived before you receive a wristband and some grip socks for jumping.
You are then taken into a side room for a safety briefing – its so important to keep safe when doing activities like this and the Gravity Force team were great at putting everyone at ease and letting them know what was and wasn’t allowed. As you can see, the safety area is very spacious so there is plenty of room for children and their families to get their briefing. Once the briefing is over, staff take you through to the trampoline park itself.
I cannot fault the staff when it comes to safety. There was always someone close by should you require any assistance and they always made sure to stop anyone from doing something they weren’t supposed to – a few children kept trying to jump in the foam bit when it wasn’t their turn but the staff quickly noticed and put a stop to it, avoiding any potential injuries to anyone.
I watched from the extremely spacious cafe section upstairs which offers a wide variety of food and drinks. With sofas, coffee tables and other tables and chairs aplenty, there is plenty of space to sit and look out on the trampoline park.
What can I say about Gravity Force that I haven’t already said? If you are looking for an inexpensive, safe but fun day out, perhaps consider heading to your local Gravity Force trampoline park. We will definitely be heading back again soon – Jack even wants his birthday party there!
