We were sent this party bag bundle to aid with creation of this post. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
Kids birthdays can become so expensive. Once they’ve decided what they want to do for their birthday, you have to factor in those costs plus food, party bags etc – and that’s before you’ve even considered their actual presents and maybe even a family meal. Jack always does something with a few friends and then also has a celebration with family.
Last year, we did the cinema with around eight of his friends, the year before it was a laser party with twelve and the year before it was a disco with the whole of his Reception class! This year, he is weighing up a few options but he will only be having about five friends – I’ve noticed that even though the guest list gets smaller, the prices still remain the same! He’s tossing it up between rock climbing or Quasar – hopefully he will soon make a decision.
To help keep birthday costs down, the fabulous The Card & Party Store offered us a fantastic party bag bundle, ready for Jack’s birthday! So what were we sent?
We were sent a 6 pack of crayons, some 7cm squishy balls, a yo-yo pack, a pack of balloon party boxes and some parachute men!
With Jack’s birthday in just over 7 weeks time, planning is key and these party bag items are a fantastic addition to our party prep. Jack has got a few of the items out to test their quality although I’ve warned him that if he wants to give them to his friends in his party bags, then he needs to be careful with them! I know what my kid is like for losing things, haha!
I often find myself ordering from major retailers last minute for next day delivery for party items such as these as I always forget them but The Card & Party Store is a fantastic one stop shop for everything you could ever want that is party related. We’ve got a few parties coming up, including my 30th and my mum’s 60th, so a one stop shop such as this could prove incredibly useful. Not only do they store greeting cards, partyware and gifts but they’re also fantastic for seasonal items such as Halloween and Christmas.
These items are great quality and affordable too and just what we need to get prepared for Jack’s 8th birthday. Do you like to get prepared for birthdays in advance like me?

I love being prepared for parties as there is nothing worse than running around the day or so before trying to get things from different places. It’s great to get everything so you can sit back and just enjoy the day.
It looks like you’ve made a good start in party bags. I had to prepare about 50 a few weeks back. The party bundle sounds good although I would have needed one tha was much larger.
Party boxes is not something I’d consider if I wanted to throw a birthday party on a budget but at least they look nice
There is no way Jack is about to be 8 like what!
What some amazing looking bits for his party though! Looks like you have a good start in getting things ready!
Oh yes, parties can be really something to plan. It’s a big time saver to find a one stop shop where you can get all of your party supplies.
These are perfect for party bags. I’ll definitely keep these in mind for my stepsons birthday xxx
Definitely agree with you that parties can be so expensive. Glad that you got a party bag bundle as just adding the bits up cost a bomb. I am sure everyone will love their bags.
Getting prepared in advance definitely does take out some of the stress of party management, that’s for sure! I bet Jack and his friends will be delighted with these party boxes!
