I don’t know about you but I love a cocktail! I can’t wait to get out and enjoy some cocktails with some friends but I don’t mind the odd one at home too! Many years ago, I tried some Funkin Cocktails products and the time has come to try some more. I was asked if I’d like to try some of the brand new strawberry daiquiri cocktails.
Funkin Cocktails are the UK’s leading cocktail brand and have over 21 years of cocktail making experience. They have recently released a delicious new range of canned cocktails including Peach Bellini and Strawberry Daiquiri and I was sent some of the latter to try.
The strawberry daiquiri cocktail is available in ASDA (RRP: £8.50 for a multi-pack of four cans) and Morrison’s (RRP: £2.00 per can/200ml) and with strawberry being the most popular cocktail flavour amongst UK consumers and rum sales second only to gin, the brand’s Strawberry Daiquiri is perfect for the nation to enjoy at barbeques, picnics and on long, balmy evenings.
The cans are one alcoholic unit and they’re 5% in volume. The cocktails are nitrogen infused so you need to chill, rotate and then crack open and leave for a minute before drinking to let the nitrogen infuse and the foam to form. You can also enjoy it from a glass but remember to crack it open and leave it for a minute before pouring.
The cocktails are very fruity as you’d expect – deliciously strawberry! You may be forgiven for forgetting that this is an alcoholic drink as you cannot taste the alcohol at all – it is simply very sweet and would be perfect over ice in the garden at a summer BBQ or even a picnic.
I really enjoyed the new strawberry daiquiri cocktails and I can’t wait to try out the new peach bellini and some of the older flavours. Have you ever tried any of the Funkin Cocktails range before?

I really like a Daquiri and along with a Mohjito are my go to cocktails when im out and about, however strawberry ones can be up and down so this one looks nice, and worth a try, great review.
I do like have a couple of cans of cocktails in the fridge but, by and large, I’ve found them disappointing. There’s often a ‘tinny’ taste to them, or the ingredients seem out of proportion so that one taste dominates. I guess they’re useful as a last resort, but you can’t beat the real thing!
Strawberry Daiquiri is my favourite cocktail and the fact you can get it in a can is perfect.

I love a good cocktail, the fact that this so convenient in a can is great as I’m not all that good at making them.
Strawberry daquari’s are my favourite cocktails. I love sweet drinks, I am glad it was sweet. I didn’t know about the nitrogen part and having to chill and rotate I would have just drunk it from the can haha!
I love a cocktail too, although my tastes sit around the slightly heavier end of the scale – I love the bitter taste of a negroni and anything short and whisky based has my vote!
Strawberry Daiquiri is one of my favourite cocktails and I often have this made for me at the bar. How wonderful that this is now available so that I can have it at home. It looks so refreshing as well.
