Frozen Unicorns | Game Review

We were sent a Frozen Unicorns game for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own. This postcontains affiliate links.

Frozen Unicorns is a simple and fun game that takes the concept of frozen statues and makes it even more fun. Perfect for 3 or more players and for ages 6+, this is a game the whole family will enjoy. Olivia may only be 3 but she also had plenty of fun trying to guess and posing for different statues even if I did have to help her a little when it came to reading and guessing!

In this game everyone except one pretends to be the same frozen animal or person, while the last person has to try and work out what on Earth they are… Points are awarded for not just guessing correctly, but also the best statue.

The game is compact which makes it perfect for taking on your travels and for storing. It is also perfect for gatherings which is great with Christmas coming up when you may have people over for the festivities and want something fun to do.

We have had fun playing this game for the past couple of days and I love that at the bottom of the box, you also find out that they donate 10% of their profits and 1000s of their games to good cause plus plant 10 trees for every 1 that they use – I do like companies that do their bit for good causes and the environment!

Available on the Gamely Games website and other good retailers such as Amazon {affiliate link}, there are three different levels to choose from – easy, medium and hard. The person with the most points at the end receives the I won Frozen Unicorns card. So what did we think of the game?

Frozen Unicorns gameWe have really been enjoying playing this as a family. It has been fun seeing everyone attempting to be a particular statue whilst the other one guesses. Seeing the kids try and be certain statues was quite amusing to say the least!

I think Olivia nailed frozen ballerina, don’t you?

Jack’s alien was a little harder to guess though!

This is such a fun game for the whole family to enjoy and it really appeals to all ages – even those under 6+ I’ve found – although the age recommendation is because younger ones may not be able to read the cards or understand what to do. The packaging is super cute and would catch my attention on a shelf in a shop and I love that it is pocket sized which makes it perfect for taking with you anywhere – great if you like taking games on holiday!

I’m definitely going to be checking out what other games Gamely Games have to offer – we love a board game in our family!
