What hobbies do you have? I like to read books and you may already know that I like murder mysteries – especially murder mystery events. But I have been thinking lately that I’d love to find a new hobby – everyone I know has loads! I’ve recently discovered Custom paint by number kits and this sounds right up my street!
I like doing things that are either crafty or that keep my attention for a long time – something that I really need to focus on. These paint by number kits truly do that and there is a wonderful selection of themes including skulls, glass, fantasy, mandala and even cartoon and anime! I’ve been considering picking up a few different kits to give them a try! They come with a high quality canvas, an acrylic based paint set, paint brushes and even some easy to follow instructions. They seem so fun to do and perfect for both children and adults!

I have always loved painting by numbers – I find something so therapeutic about sitting there and taking the time to bring the picture to fruition. You know what the outcome is going to be but there is something great about being a part of the process.
I’ve been feeling a little down lately because it seems I am either working or doing things as a mum. Don’t get me wrong, I love being a mum but sometimes I need a little time for me and I don’t get much time to do that. As I mentioned, I don’t have many hobbies and those I do can be easily done around the kids and family – sometimes I just want to lock myself away and get some time to myself. One of these paint by number kits sounds like the perfect thing for me to do!
Just the opportunity to set aside some time – pick up one of the kits and get started on it! I love that they even offer the option to get a truly personalised one with your own photo! The team do their best to keep the image as true to form as possible but may take artistic liberties to ensure it fits properly which is great. After all, the last thing you want is a distorted image!
I can’t wait to give this new hobby a try. I haven’t painted by numbers for quite some time, especially on this level, but it is something I have always enjoyed! This seems like such a therapeutic way to get some time to myself and relax for the first time all day! I love that you can choose from a variety of designs and a variety of sizes plus you can even get one with your own photo if you so wish!
I am definitely going to be getting a kit for myself – is painting by numbers a hobby you might take up?
My eldest loves paint by number kits. She will start one and the dining room table will be taken over with it until it’s finished. So sorry you have been feeling down. I hope you get some time for yourself x
