Its time to take a look at my most recent Degustabox and see what we tried this month. This month the box contained over £20 worth of stuff for just £12.99 including P+P (or just £6.99 for your first box if you use the usual promo code!)
So what did we receive?
Veetee Basmati Rice – £1.49
We love rice with our meals so this was always going to be a welcome addition to our larder. We eat it a lot and this has already been consumed!
Levi Roots Jerk Coat n Cook sauce – £1
We haven’t used this yet but I can’t wait – we love Levi Roots’ sauces
Veetee Wholegrain Brown Rice & Quinoa (Gluten Free) – £1.29
This are currently sitting in my cupboard waiting for my mum to pick it up – she has to eat gluten free food so I’m happy to let her have this.
Popchips Sea Salt, Garlic & Rosemary flavour – £1.99
These were absolutely delicious. So moreish and a great snack whilst having half the fat of normal crisps. Yummy!
Parle Premium Rusk – 25p
I have never been a fan of rusks and I never will be. None of us were fans.
Green Lady Sparkling Tea – £1.99
Drinks are hit or miss with me when it comes to Degustabox and I am afraid this was a miss. It smelled nice but I wasn’t a fan of the taste.
Pimm’s Cider Cup – £2.29
I love Pimm’s and I love cider – this was a total winner for me!
Rejuvenance water apple & mint – £1.99
I’m not a fan of this. I usually like apple and mint flavours but this didn’t tickle my tastebuds I’m afraid.
Canderel Sugarly Granulated Sweetener – £3
This came along at just the right time as we were about to buy some sweetener. This has already become a cupboard staple in our house.
Parle Parle-G biscuits – 89p
These were okay, nothing to write home about though.
Bebeto mini fruit strings 7 day pack – £1.99
These were a big hit with Jack and we will definitely pick these up again
Smarties Sharing Block – £1
You can’t go wrong with a bit of chocolate!
Milkybar Milk & Crunchy – £1.29
Ditto! No complaints here.
All in all I was quite happy with the box. I am getting a little fed up though with the constant inclusion of ‘rejuvenating’ drinks and cold green tea style drinks. It would be nice to see some different style items every once in a while.
