I received the monthly Degustabox food and drink subscription box for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’m a little bit delayed in posting this, I’m afraid. Half term and Halloween and Fireworks night made life very busy and with the new box due out sometime next week, I knew I needed to get this up soon to show you the items we received in last month’s Degustabox.
I’ll be honest with you and say upon opening that I wasn’t completely wowed by what was inside however this month I can actually say with all certainty that will use absolutely everything and we already have!
So what did we receive in our box this month?
Spoon Granola Cherry Bomb
Steve is a big cherry fan so this is a fabulous option for breakfast for him. We have so many different cereals at the moment though so this has gone in the cupboard until we need a new one.
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey & Lemonade – £2
These definitely have the sharp flavour of Jack Daniel’s that you come to expect with the sweet taste of lemonade. These were a lovely addition to the box, especially after recently trying the Jack Daniel’s cider. They’re an affordable price too!
Upbeat Spring Water – Summer Lemon and Blueberry & Raspberry flavour – £1.59 each
These flavoured spring waters have zero sugar, are low in calories and have real fruit flavours and taste absolutely delicious. We are trying to limit the amount of fizzy drinks we consume so these would be a great alternative.
Steve is a big ginger beer lover so this was a welcome addition. This uses real ginger extract and a delicate hint of lemongrass. This will definitely be something we purchase again.
A new product on the market, Jack was very excited by this and couldn’t wait to have it for breakfast. It comes with a portion of Shreddies cereal and a carton of milk. It also comes with a recyclable cup and a spoon – so you simply pour and eat.
Now seeing this product of the month in the box brought back memories. I remember drinking this at my Nan’s house when I was a child and she always made sure she had some in the house for me when she was looking after me. It can be enjoyed hot or cold and is super sweet and delicious.
I love bars like this. It is made with real fruit and gluten free wholegrain oats. It contains no artificial ingredients, no added cane sugar, it’s vegan, gluten free and a great source of fibre. I am a big berry fan and always opt for things with mixed berries in so this was a real low calorie delicious treat for me.
Now I’m never going to say no to a KitKat Chunky – it is one of my favourite chocolate bars and this new flavour in the range is incredibly delicious. Of course I had to share with the rest of the family – not fair!
I don’t drink too many hot drinks but I am partial to a cup of tea every now and again and visitors often have a cuppa when round mine. This box of tea is great value, great taste and I even got a free gift of a tea towel. You can’t go wrong with a box of teabags in a subscription box like this.
I love receiving stuff like this in the Degustabox as it is the perfect thing to put in the pantry and pull out when unsure of what to make. I am a big fan of the Heinz brand and have been intrigued by the Creationz range. These make a great option for lunch.
I generally like to make my own sauces but I always like having something like this to hand. We are big fans of Mexican flavours in this house so this sauce was always going to go down a treat!
Overall, I was very impressed with the box. For just £12.99 including delivery, you really are getting great value for money – this box itself is worth around £20 in terms of content. I can’t wait to see what next month brings.
