Food & Drink, Reviews

Degustabox | October 2020

I was sent a Degustabox for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

Don’t forget you can get your first box for just £9.99 including shipping with the code WDGX9 which gets you a £3 discount on the £12.99 price! Buy it here.

This month’s theme was Movie Night & Halloween (of course!) – so what did we get in the box?

St Pierre 6 Brioche Burger Buns – £2

We’ve always got brioche buns in our house so these are very much a welcome addition. We use these for burgers, packed lunches and so much more. They taste absolutely delicious and won’t last long here!

Naked Malaysian Rendang Veg Pot – £1.50

I love Naked noodle pots and have tried nearly every product in the range but was yet to try this one. However I can now say I gave it a go and it is delicious. It is 100% plant based and vegan and is 1 of your 5 a day. For the veg pot, you can also get it in two other tasty and authentic flavours for a quick and delicious lunch.

Costa Instant Coffee – £5.50

We don’t drink coffee but always have guests round who do so this is getting put in the cupboard until they visit. Since we know they love Costa Coffee, I can guarantee that this will go down a treat.

Maltesers Instant Hot Chocolate – £2.59

Olivia was very excited to see this in the box! As a fan of Maltesers and a fan of hot chocolate, I had to agree. Nothing beats a mug of hot chocolate on a cold night and this is so good!

KitKat Senses Chocolate Selection Gift Box – £5

Who wouldn’t be happy to see this? A delicious mix of the KitKat Senses products in a lovely little gift box. I know these won’t last long!

Reese’s Peanut Butter Minis – £1.50

The kids and Steve were happy to see these. They love Reese’s products and this share bag went down a treat!

Whaoo! Chocolate Filled Crepes – £1.75

We always have some filled crepes in the house for breakfasts so these are a very welcome addition. These contain no palm oil or preservatives and are individually wrapped so you can grab and go.

Olly’s Pretzel Thins (Salted Original & Multi-Seed Sesame) – £1

Who doesn’t love a snack with a satisfying crunch? These are super flavourful and really hit the spot. They have 80% less fat, 45% fewer calories and are less than 98 calories per pack!

Attack A Snak Original Nachos – £1.50

We have tried these before and Steve really enjoyed it! They taste great! There is even a fab competition on the pack too!

YES! Plant Protein Bars – £1.59

With 10g of plant based protein, nuts as the number one ingredient ans two delicious flavours, these make for the perfect snack. They are also gluten free too. We love YES! bars, they are a fab snack and these were so good.

Brynmor Chocolate Flapjack – £1.39

Gluten free and a source of fibre as well as being vegetarian, wheat free and with no artificial flavours, this flapjack is delicious and an indulgent snack without any guilt! What could be better?

Kookie Kat Wild Berries Cashew & Oat Cookie

Such a lovely addition to the box. Tasted really good and I love the cute packaging!

We also received a fab £2 voucher towards Scarestrings Strawberry Yollies which I know the kids love so can’t wait to pick them up!

Overall the box averaged around £25+ which is wonderful when you think of the actual price you pay! I was very impressed with this box as were the rest of the family and we can’t wait to see what next month brings.

When I first saw it I thought it said Disgustabox which would obviously be weird. The contents are right up my street as there is nothing there I don’t like.
