Food & Drink, Reviews

Degustabox | November 2022

I was sent a Degustabox for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

Don’t forget you can get your first box here.

There didn’t seem to be a theme for this month’s box – simply a November box! So what did we think?

Green Sour Cherry & Green Orangeade – 99p each

These were intriguing! They are low calorie and have no added sugar and no aspartame. We drink a lot of soft drinks so were willing to give these a try. The flavours were less intense than I expected but these were pleasant enough.

Heineken Silver – £1 per can

It is light tasting and low in bitterness and is made with natural ingredients. I don’t tend to drink Heineken but Steve enjoys the odd can and has enjoyed these.

Nandos Flavour Shaker Medium – £2

I cannot handle the Medium at Nandos but Steve enjoys it! We enjoy plenty of seasonings on our food and Steve will often make his own chicken wings or other types of meat in the air fryer. He has already tried this and really liked this!

Double Dutch Drinks Double Lemon – £1.20

These are made with all natural ingredients, no artificial sweeteners and low in calories and sugars. Jack tried this as we tried the Green drinks and he loved it! He isn’t allowed too many fizzy drinks except the odd one but said this was absolutely delicious!

Filippo Berio Truffle Pest0 £4.99

I am yet to try this as we moved house and haven’t had a chance to yet but I am so excited to give this a go! It is made with extra virgin olive oil and sounds and looks absolutely incredible!

The Jelly Bean Factory 36 mix pouch – £1.50

Everyone was so excited to see these because who doesn’t love jelly beans? These did not last very long in our house – and we will certainly be buying more of these!

Pot Noodle Fusions Chilli Chicken – £1.39

I love the Fusions range but I hadn’t yet tried this one! It has quite intense flavour and I am not too sure if I would buy it again as it was a little too hot for me! However it is a great addition to the Pot Noodle range!

Bett’r Peanut Nut Butter Cups – £2.99

These are guilt free and are gluten free! Whilst these aren’t as sweet as the brand name alternative that you are probably thinking of, these were a decent alternative!

Heinz Made Veggiez Miso and Chilli – £2.50

Designed to add some flavour to your vegetable dishes, this is an interesting new addition to the Heinz range. I can’t say that I would definitely buy it again but it is definitely an intriguing addition to the range of sauces available.

Halo’s Chocolate and Orange flavoured Mini Donut – £1.50

These had a really intense flavour which I was not expecting but really enjoyed! These are steam baked not fried which makes them a lot lighter. These are finished with gold and bronze sugar sprinkles and I cannot wait to pick up more of these in the future!

TEA REX Turmeric & Black Pepper infusion – £3.85

These are made from fresh fruit, roots and leaves. The tubes are 100% recyclable and these are apparently super flavourful. I am yet to try this but I cannot wait!

Overall this was a fairly impressive box. I haven’t had the chance to try everything but there were some really delicious things in the box and  I enjoyed getting to try some new things!
