The theme of this month’s box is Party & Feeling Festive. So what did we think?
INES ROSALES Orange Sweet Olive Oil Tortas – £2.50
This is so delicious and was such a lovely surprise. I wasn’t sure what to think of them when I first saw them but we really enjoyed them. They’re vegan, kosher, egg free and dairy free too so suitable for pretty much everyone!
McVitie’s Chocolate Digestives The Fully Coated One & Chocolate Hobnobs The Fully Coated One – £1.79 each
These are the Product of the Month and it is easy to see why! They are indulgent, silky smooth and crunchy and taste great. You only get six in a pack though so be sure to savour the moment with them!
Nairn’s Cheese Oatcakes – £1.50
These are extremely versatile and are made with wholegrain oats. As well as being vegetarian and high fibre, these taste great and make a great snack or paired with some soup!
The English Provender Co Caramelised Red Onion Chutney – £2
We love chutneys in our house and we’ve already nearly used this up! This tastes delicious and is super indulgent. It is great in cheese sandwiches too!
Radnor Infusions Raspberry & Black Cherry – £1.50
The drink is sugar and sweetener free and is suitable for vegans too! It is even preservative free. I’m not the biggest fan of these types of drinks but I really enjoyed the flavouring of this!
Passoa Passion Fruit Liqueur – £1.60 for the sample size, £13 for the full size bottle
I already know I like this so I was happy to see this included in the box. It is an essential ingredient for a Porn Star Martini. This definitely won’t last long!
Knorr Chilli & Smoked Paprika – £1.80
We always use herbs and spices in our cooking so we know this will be put to good use! This is perfect for adding to a variety of delicious dishes and adds some delicious flavour.
Peppadew Sweet Piquante Peppers – £3
Steve loves these! These bite sized peppers are sweet and tangy whilst crunchy and delicious. I can’t see these lasting long in my house!
Mr Filberts Sea Salt & Herb Mixed Nuts – £1.50
These oven roasted nuts make a great snack and taste great! They have a really lovely flavour and are made from 100% natural ingredients. We will definitely be picking up some more of these!
Menier Swiss Milk Chocolate with Salted Caramel – £1.99
This chocolate is indulgent and luxurious – it is really good quality chocolate. This didn’t last long because it tastes sooo good! I will definitely be picking some up off of Amazon as soon as I possibly can!
Hellmann’s Sour Cream & Chive Squeeze – £1.70
This is a perfect condiment and can even be used as a dip! We love our sauces and dips so have been using this in burgers, with salads and so much more. It tastes incredible!
Overall, this was a fairly decent box. I can only make the connection between the theme and a couple of the products so find it to be a bit of a tenuous link. However, we really enjoyed the products. The box contents came to over £20 which means you are getting a great saving when buying the box.
What would be your favourite item from the box?
This is a great box and I’d eat and drink everything that is in it! Those biscuits are very moreish!
I bought this box and we loved everything, especially the chocolate biscuits and the cheese oatcakes!
I think this degusto box looks great and good for value aswell
