I was sent a Degustabox for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
Don’t forget you can get your first box for just £7.99 including shipping with the code WDGX9 which gets you a £5 discount on the £12.99 price! Buy it here.

The theme of this month’s box is PICNIC. So what did we think?

Guinness Cooking Paste – £3
This is very interesting! I am not the biggest fan of Guinness as a drink but this makes a really interesting addition to any dish! It gives it an added level of richness – you should really give it a try!

Knorr Fish Stock Pot – £1.65
We always have Knorr stock pots in the cupboard – whilst we don’t make many fish dishes, this will be very useful!

Hippeas Chickpea Snacks Sriracha Chilli – 99p
These are vegan, gluten free and high fibre with just 88kcal per serving. These are absolutely delicious and a great guilt free snack – but the heat does get a little much towards the end of the bag!

J20 Spritz Apple & Watermelon – £2.65 per bottle
I have always loved J20’s and this is a welcome addition to the range! It is very tasty and has only 55 calories per bottle. The kids really enjoyed it and we will definitely pick more up!

Kind Bar Maple & Pecan bar – £1.49
We have seen Kind bars in the box before and have always liked them. This has a nice flavour, no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. It is also high in fibre. It certainly makes for a filling snack.

Plantastic Chocolate & Cherry Flapjacks – £2.25
These are plant based and we had high hopes for them but unfortunately none of us actually liked them that much. They needed to be a bit more chocolately and have less seeds – as these completely overpowered the flapjacks sadly.

Chewits Cherry Stick Pack – 50p/ Chewits Sour Lemon Stick Pack – 50p
These went down a treat with my family! We love cherry flavours and these are a really good and intense flavour. They have no artificial colours or flavours and are suitable for vegetarians too. We will definitely be picking these up again!

Napolina Drained Quinoa / Napolina Drained Cannelini Beans – 75p each
These are great sources of protein and are low in fat. They also count towards one of your five a day! We use a lot of stuff like this in our dishes so these are very handy!

Urban Fruit Gently Baked Pineapple – £1 a bag
These are such a delicious snack – they are one of your five a day, have no added sugar and Steve and my kids really enjoyed them! We will definitely pick more of these up!

Whitworths Protein By Nature – £2
We have tried many Whitworths products in the past and have been impressed and we were with this too. It is ready to eat in 2 minutes, has 20g of protein and tastes great!

Boost Coffee Latte & Mocha – £1 each
We don’t drink coffee in our house so we have passed these on to my brother in law.

KitKat Bites Sharing Bag – £1.59
These were fully consumed within half an hour of opening the box. We love KitKat Bites and were happy to see them included – we will definitely buy more of these!
Overall I was very impressed with the box. Some items didn’t quite fit the theme sch as the grains, stock pots or cooking paste but nevertheless it was a fairly good box.
