Here I am with my latest Degustabox review. I love receiving these every month as there is always such a variety. Sure, maybe not everything will be to everyones tastes but there is normally a little something for everyone! What did I receive this month?
Packaged as perfectly as ever!
It was nice to see Dr Oetker included again as we are always looking to add more items to the baking cupboard. We were sent the Eton Mess and the Violet Crystals and whilst we haven’t used them yet, they are bound to get used soon! Eton Mess £1.99, Violet Crystals £1.29
When it comes to dark chocolate, I have to be really in the mood for it and I have to admit lemon flavours in chocolate are not usually my cup of tea. This was okay though – was nice to graze on throughout the day. £2.29
The FRANK bar is something I originally gave to Steve owing to the blueberry flavour but he tried it and hated it so gave the rest to me. I actually thought it was pretty nice and something I would pick up myself. I would definitely be willing to try the other flavours (strawberry, orange, oat, double chocolate). These are free from gluten, dairy and nuts too plus suitable for vegans – what’s not to love? 85p each
The thing I was most excited for in the box was the Portlebay Popcorn and we were sent three flavours; Kracklecorn, Chilli & Lime and Crispy Bacon & Maple Syrup. We haven’t tried these yet, would you believe – but from what others have said, I am in for a treat! 79p per pack
Finally, the Maggi sachets. I love Maggi sachets – they make some meals so easy! We always have a handful of these in the cupboard so seeing a whole pile made me smile – we received Cheesy Chicken & Leek Potato Bake, Piri Piri Chicken, Beef & Ale Casserole and & Oriental Soy & Garlic for Chicken. We have tried a couple of these flavours before and have been impressed so are looking forward to trying more in the range! RRP for all 6 sachets in box: £5.54
The Degustabox is normally priced at £12.99 delivery inclusive but you can get yours for just £9.99 with this code: 1CFN0. Altogether, my alcohol free box came to £19.69 which is great since the box retails at £12.99 including delivery – way more than your moneys worth! The alcohol box comes to £20.70 which is also a great retail value! I would definitely recommend picking up a Degustabox, even if you go in with other members of your family – there is bound to be something you will love in there!
Be sure to check Degustabox out on their website, Facebook and Twitter. What do you think would be your favourite item from the box above?
