So what did we think of the box?
OXO Succulent Chicken Stock Pots – £1.85
Who doesn’t find stock pots helpful? We have a whole shelf in our cupboard filled to the brim with different types of stock pots and cubes and we use them in our cooking a lot. You can’t beat a good old OXO pot though! These are gluten free and have natural colours and flavourings.
Milliways Plastic Free Peppermint Gum – 20p
I didn’t try this as there was only one piece but unfortunately Steve wasn’t really a fan. It has natural flavours of Menta Peperita and Menta Arvensis to give that peppermint taste. There is no plastic in the gum but to be honest, I didn’t realise there was any in regular gum? This is also chemical free.
Just Spices Vegetable Seasoning Allrounder – £3.99
If you know us, you will know we love our seasonings so we were happy to see this included. I’ve seen this brand online recently and we’ve already tried this – delicious on your veggies!
Nescafe Iced Classic Unsweetened Espresso Concentrate – £4.99
Again, if you know us, you will know that we don’t drink coffee in this household so all coffee products go to our regular tester, my brother in law. This is a new product and can be mixed with the liquid of your choice to create a delicious iced coffee in seconds. He has really enjoyed this.
ACTI-SNACK Buffalo BBQ Keto trail mix – £1.50
Being on the road as a HGV driver and actively losing weight, Steve is always looking for tasty but fairly healthy snacks to take on the road with him. This keto trail mix was full of flavour and has protein to build lean muscle mass as well as magnesium, potassium and iron to fight muscle fatigue. He really enjoyed this!
Hi-Chew Apple and Strawberry – £1.25 each
Another product that Steve thieved – this was very much a box for him! He really likes these and picks them up from the shop regularly. These are super tasty and full of flavour.
KIND Snacks KIND Protein Crunchy Peanut Butter – £2.20
We have a lot of these snacks in the cupboard as they are perfect for Steve or the kids to snack on. They contain 12g of protein and this combines smooth peanut butter with whole peanuts for the perfect peanutty snack.
Get More Vits Vitamin D drink – £1.25
We like vitamin drinks and Get More Vits are great! This isn’t my favourite flavour but it is definitely interesting. These drinks are low calorie, sugar free and contain your daily dose of Vitamin D.
Swizzels Squashies Tropical – £1.25
We love Swizzels Squashies! These did not last long after opening the box and they taste absolutely fantastic!
Blanco Nino Chilli and Lime – £3
I love a good tortilla chip and these are full of flavour, although the heat can get a bit much after a few! Hannah kept trying them despite us trying to warn her, bless – but she loved the flavour! I will definitely pick up some more of these, they are so flavourful!
Overall this was a great box. Steve definitely enjoyed more of the box than I did but it is great to be able to provide a variety of snack or food options for him on the road! The contents come to over £20 which makes this a great deal, especially if you will use all of the products!
