It is time again to show you what I got in my monthly Degustabox. This month, every item was a complete surprise to us and we were very excited to receive it. Here is what we found in our box this month:
Seabrooks Lattice Food Heroes Crisps (Chicken Jalfrezi flavour) – £1.99
Steve tried these as I am not a chicken jalfrezi girl. He wasn’t the biggest fan of the flavour but he said they were okay. I doubt he would try them again though.
Itsu Crispy Seaweed Thins (Sea Salt flavour) – £1 each
Another meh item this time around. I love seaweed and I love seasalt..but these were just not my cup of tea in the slightest. The texture – how papery thin they were – really didn’t do anything for me.
Jordans Swiss Style Muesli – £2.79
A brand I am always happy to see is Jordans. They have such wonderful products and muesli is always handy to have in the larder for breakfasts. I don’t always fancy muesli but its nice having some there knowing that if I do, I’ve got it. As per most other Jordans products, we love this.
You can tell it is Summer as Degustabox went a bit crazy with the drinks – knowing we might need refreshing on those hot, hot days! Here’s what drinks we received:
Cracker Drinks Co. Pineapple, Coconut & Lime drink – £1.50
We love juice in our household and this one was no exception. Steve and Jack preferred this one to me but it was still a tasty treat!
Qcumber Natural Cucumber Sparkling Spring Water
I can’t find a price for this but this was very refreshing although a little strange. I love cucumbers but drinking them is a little odd!
Berrywhite Organic sparkling drinks (lemon & ginger and cranberry & guava)
I cannot find prices for these either but these were very tasty and very refreshing – we will definitely be purchasing these again.
Rejuvenation Water (Spanish Orange flavour) – £1.99
Designed to deal with the stresses of modern life, these help to build natural resilience to things such as stress, depression and anxiety and helps protein digestion. Both Steve and I tasted this and found it to be very nice and refreshing, great flavour.
ALO Aloe Vera Drink – £2.45
I didn’t try this myself but Steve is a big fan of aloe vera drinks and took it to work with him one day. He said it was great and really refreshing in the middle of the day when were going through our heatwave!
Felix Sweet Pickled Swedish Gherkins – £2.15
Steve and I adore gherkins so were ecstatic to see these in the box. They won’t last long in our house – we often snack on them!
Sarson’s Balsamic Vinegar – £1.99
Every household needs some balsamic vinegar and what better brand to have than Sarson’s? We’ve been using this a lot on salads…it is so yummy!
Finally some sweet treats…and we loved them A LOT.
Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles Infusions – £1.29
I love Rowntree’s and these new flavours are amazing! We will definitely be picking these up again!
Brookside Chocolates ( Acai & Blueberry flavour) – £3.340
I wasn’t sure what to expect of these but they are incredibly moreish – so yummy and all three of us love them! I’ve saved the last few for me as a special treat – sssh, don’t tell the others!
Bahlsen Choco Liebniz – 40p each (4 included in our box)
I’ve talked about Bahlsen numerous times before. I’m sure you know that I love Bahlsen biscuits and I may just have let out a little shriek when I saw them included in the box. I will always repurchase these!

We were quite impressed with the box this month. There were some products that we weren’t too sure about – they’re definitely an acquired taste – but other items in the box totally made up for it – but isn’t that the beauty of a food subscription box? You get to try lots and lots of new things!
