I was sent a Degustabox for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
Don’t forget you can get your first box for just £9.99 including shipping with the code WDGX9 which gets you a £3 discount on the £12.99 price! Buy it here.

This month’s box is a Sainsbury’s exclusive box – in partnership with Sainsbury’s, Degustabox have tailored a selection of exciting brands for us to enjoy.
So what did we receive?

Peter’s Yard Sourdough Bites – £2
These are a crunchy snack that were really interesting to try but I wasn’t the biggest fan of. These are made using a signature sourdough starter that is slowly fermented for 16 hours. These are low in saturated fat and made with natural ingredients but I probably won’t pick these up again.

The Curators Cocoa Caramel Peanuts – £1.20
These are made with just four ingredients and make the perfect snack. They’re gluten free, high fibre and have 7g of protein as well as only 191 calories per pack! These are a tasty snack – we love peanuts in our house!

Nexba Pineapple Soft Drink 1L – £1.25
We love fruity flavoured soft drinks! This pineapple flavoured soft drink doesn’t contain any sugar and has no artificial sweeteners too. This has been such a refreshing drink amd we have really enjoyed it!

LEON Aioli – £2.50
We love garlic mayo which is what aioli can be better known as. This has been on LEON restaurant menus since 2004 and can now be enjoyed at home. This one in particular is vegan and tastes absolutely delicious. We are all about the condiments in this house!

Odysea Aubergine Meze Dip – £2.15
Unfortunately the majority of my house don’t like aubergines so it looks like I will be the only one having this. I haven’t yet tried it as I don’t want to open it and have to rush through it!

Clwb Tropica Tropical IPA – £2
Now Steve doesn’t generally drink IPA but even he was keen to give this a try based on its description. This has pineapples, mangos, passionfruit and peaches blended together to make an IPA. This was a surprising hit. Might have to pick some more of these up!

Capsicana Mexican Tomato and Chipotle Tinga Cooking Paste – £1.30
We have had a few different Capsicana products in the past in these boxes and really enjoyed them. The fact that this one is mild is a real treat as everyone can enjoy it!

Pipers Lye Cross Cheddar & Onions Crisps and Atlas Mountains Wild Thyme & Rosemary Crisps – £1.40 each
Another repeat from previous boxes, these always go down a treat in my house! These didn’t last very long – they were munched pretty quickly after arriving and taste great.

Dash Water (Peach flavour) – £1.25
Dash infuse real wonky fruit into freshly sprung British water to create a delicious and refreshing drink. This contains zero sugar, zero sweeteners and zero calories. This is a really refreshing treat.

Good Earth Ginger, Turmeric & Lemon Herbal Tea – £2.75
I don’t drink too much herbal tea but we always have some in the house! This has 15 biodegradable teabags and has a lot of flavour!

Tony’s Chocolonely – £1.35
Tony’s Chocolonely are on a mission to make all chocolate 100% slave free. I have heard such good things about this chocolate but unfortunately I wasn’t too impressed by the taste – it was just a little too plain for my liking. I will try some more of the range and hopefully the experience will be a little more positive next time.
Overall, I was left feeling a little underwhelmed by this box. It had the potential to be really great but with it being a Sainsbury’s exclusive box, I wasn’t expecting to see items that we’ve had before in other boxes and I must admit I expected it to be a little more exciting.
The box contents come to just under £20 which is great considering the price you actually pay for the box. What products would you have enjoyed from this box?

I’ve never heard of this box, but it seems interesting. Is it something specific theme each time or just interesting products per store? Not sure of the purpose?
Specific theme – this year there has been a festive theme, an Easter theme, a summer/bbq theme etc. This is the first partnership with a shop that I’ve seen from them
It’s a shame this was disappointing but I’ve heard good things about the box in general. I like the idea of having things sent to the house to try x
Yeah, usually I’m not as underwhelmed as I was with this particular box
These are such a great idea to try new products aren’t they and usually you get a really good deal.
Oh the pineapple drink sounds nice and refreshing, and you can’t beat some leon garlic aoli. I love LEON and can’t wait to go back when we’re able to x
Ooh I would love that aubergine dip for when I’m snacking on Christmas Day haha. Looks like a good box but a shame you’ve had some products in previous boxes
You didn’t like the taste of Tony Chocolonely? We need to talk about this! A great mixture of products in this box!
I am loving this month’s goodies and definitely sad I missed out on this box, I have tried that herbal tea both and absolutely love it.
Looks like you have some lovely treats to enjoy over the Christmas period. I most want to try Tony’s Chocolonely
Love the mix of products – i have heard good things about Tony Chocolate too so that is a shame it wasn’t that good!
