Degustabox | August 2025

I was sent a Degustabox for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

Don’t forget you can get your first box here. Here are our thoughts on the August Degustabox. Use this code ZVDSC to get £3 off your first box!

So what did we think of the box?

Starbucks Premium Instant Coffee Pumpkin Spice Latte – £3

You already know that no one in my house drinks coffee but when Steve’s brother lived with us, he was always a willing and grateful tester. He is still always willing to be a tester of coffee products for us and so these are making their way to him! I do wish I liked coffee though because this sounds so good.

Activit Lemon & Lime – £1.50

You already know that this sparkling vitamin water has gone with Steve on the road. It has zero sugar, is only 3 calories and has plenty of added vitamins including B6, B12, Vitamin C and Vitamin D. Lemon & lime is such a refreshing flavour for the summer too. Delicious.

Sacla Creamy Pesto Pasta Pot – £2

A perfect lunch for someone like me who works from home. I can take a break from my desk and make a quick and easy lunch in a matter of minutes. I love pesto pasta so I was very happy to see this in the box. Each pot is a source of protein too which is great.

Forest Feast Honey & Sea Salt Cashews & Peanuts – £1.50

Another item that went on the road with Steve and I have heard no complaints. It is so hard to find him tasty snacks that fulfil his needs without being really unhealthy. Ever since he started his MJ journey, we have tried to prioritise packing protein heavy snacks and things like nuts instead of less healthy stuff like sweets or chocolate.

We love the Forest Feast range and we will definitely get these again!

Double Dutch Pomegranate & Basil – £1.50

I don’t really drink anymore – I’ve had three ciders in the last year and a half – so I have slowly been depleting my alcohol and mixer collection to my friends. This mixer is something I know my friend will enjoy so it is making its way to her!

Seabrook Waffle Bites Maple Bacon flavour – £1.50

The kids favourite item for sure! These are packed full of flavour! They are gluten free and suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. I will definitely be picking up more for lunches as the kids have begged me to!

Bold Bean Co Queen Cannellini Beans – £3.25

I must admit that until now I had never used cannellini beans in a dish! However these are perfect in salads which we have been having a lot in the hot weather!

Tilda Soy & Ginger Sticky Rice / Chinese Special Fried Rice – £1.54 each

These are the Product of the Month and again, it is easy to see why. I don’t think Tilda ever get it wrong! Ready in 2 minutes in the microwave or 3 minutes on the hob, these are so quick and easy to make. They are the perfect side dishes to an Oriental main but I actually decided to have them as a workday lunch and really enjoyed them. Both were packed full of flavours and I will definitely be picking them up again!

Kellogg’s Bluey Multigrain Cereal – £3.50

With a two year old in the house, this was always going to be welcomed and as you can imagine, it has already been finished! We have bought this before and we will get it again. It is a tasty cereal with plenty of nutritious goodness and the Bluey box is just an added bonus!

Mentos Pure Fresh Strawberry Gum – £2

I already know I am a fan of this but I have given it to Steve for when he’s on the road. Gum is such a handy thing for staving off cravings and he’s trying to avoid stopping for snacks as much as possible – I felt he needed them more than me!

Overall this was a pretty good box, there’s a couple of items we won’t use but as you know, we have other testers outside of the home who are more than willing to give things a go so everything gets a home!

What item would be your favourite?

  1. The rice and cashew nuts look good but nothing else for me this month
