Degustabox May 2016

We love receiving our Degustabox every month, getting to see what goodies we have in the box. This months selection was a total mish mash of different products – so what did we receive?

Cranes drinks – £1.90 each

We were sent the strawberry & kiwi flavour and the original cranberry. These were really tasty and really refreshing.

Pomegreat – £1.49

We haven’t actually used this yet as none of us are fans of pomegranates. I’m sure we will drink it in due course though.

Get Fruity – £1

This was super tasty and kept me going until lunch time! Yum yum yum.

Pechkeks fortune cookies – £1 each

These were very strange – they tasted like normal fortune cookies but were black. Black humour fortunes were contained within. Steve really enjoyed these.

The Wonderful Company nuts – 90p each

Steve had these as he loves nuts, especially pistachios. He was very impressed and they are such an affordable price too!

Beloved Dates Date Nectar – £3.50

We haven’t used this yet but  I can see it being used in our baking in the future.

Kallo Milk Chocolate Corn Cakes – £1.29

These didn’t last long in our house. They are a great snack and delicious. We all loved them.

Mrs Crimble’s Gluten Free Classic Madeleines

We gave these to my mum who is gluten free and she loved them!

Brioche Pasquier Croissants – £1.80

We love croissants in our house but don’t buy them very often, they are a special treat. We really enjoyed these.

Kallo Yogurt Coated Rice Cakes – £1.69

Another triumph from Kallo. We all loved these and they tasted amazing!

Garofalo Pasta – £1.99

There’s not much you can say about pasta is there? We love pasta so this was always going to be a welcome addition to our cupboards.

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Barbecue sauce – £1.99

Steve was excited to see this included in the box as he loves the Jack Daniels sauce range. This has been used daily since it arrived and Steve loves it – I’ve tried it too and its super tasty!

Was this box worth the £12.99? Definitely. With some great everyday essentials and some more luxe food items, I was very impressed this month. Why not use the code BLDEG to get £6 off your first box, making it just £6.99 OR even £4.99 for a short time if you use the code DB8? You can buy it here.

Box sent for purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
