Living in privately rented accommodation means we have to be careful with what things we do to the house. When sent the LED Hut Christmas LED Lights in multicolour with 180 miniature lights, it stated that they could be used outdoors or indoors. Since there was no real place to put them outside and we aren’t really allowed to make alterations, we settled for using them on our tree.
Our tree goes up a little later than some other families, mainly because Jack’s birthday is on the 4th of December and we put them up after this so as not to detract from the importance of his birthday. Once his birthday is over, the excitement of Christmas is allowed to hit and what is the first step of that excitement? Decorating the Christmas tree!
It has been so hard to get a decent picture of our tree yet as the days have been so overcast and low lighting in a room plus bright, bright Christmas lights aren’t very kind to cameras but I have tried my best to get a good shot.
To the left is our decorated tree with our own cheap decorations. To the far right are our LED Hut lights.
It is clear to see why these can be indoor or outdoor lights. These are a little too bright to have on all day and night so we have been putting them on mainly when guests come around and at different times. Part of me wishes we lived in our own place so we would have somewhere to put these outside – they would look so great!
This is the first year we’ve had a proper tree, our own proper tree – and I’m super impressed with these lights from LED Hut – they will be sticking around in our Christmas box and hopefully in the near future be flashing away outside for all to see. With the lights on the wire, they are super chic and make any tree look amazing. At £43.19, they perhaps aren’t in everyones budget but considering these will be used over and over again throughout the years, these are a worthwhile investment.
