Gift Guide

Christmas Gift Guide – Men, Women & Home (& Bonus Giveaway!)

Time for my final gift guide. I’ve got a real mix for you here today – some really exciting items, some practical items for around the home… a little something for everyone!

First of all – you need to make sure you’ve got some lovely Christmas cards so how about these lovely ones below from Hallmark, perhaps the most established card manufacturer out there. They’re so pretty that I don’t really want to give them to people..and may keep them for myself!

For the ladies..

There are so many items out there that ladies will love. Beauty, fashion, a boxset of their favourite TV show. Here are a few ideas for the lady in your life.
This desk diary Every Day Matters by Dani DiPerro (£12.99) is just so pretty that I am so tempted to start using it already! I don’t know about you but I love getting a new diary as a present at Christmas – especially one this size which enables me to pencil in family appointments and work without getting confused.
The team at Chuckle Monster offer some fantastic personalised gifts and personalised greetings cards. These gorgeous tulips cost just £19.99 and come with a card that holds your own special message to the recipient. There is so much more to choose from for the lady in your life but we all know that flowers always go down well.
Who is to deny the fact that nail products go down well too? Containing three beautiful polishes, some nail varnish remover and a nail care pen for £25, this is a great present for someone who loves all things nails. Plenty of my female friends spend so much time, care, attention and money on their nails so a gift set like this would be top of their wishlist. You can buy Benecos products on a variety of sites – have you ever tried them?
Retailing at £21.99, this is a must have for any lady. The Braun Satin Hair 7 hairbrush with IONTEC is fairly new to the market and is incredibly popular, fighting frizz and giving maximum shine. When I mentioned this to my friend, she declared it as her perfect gift. So what are you waiting for? You can even win one on my blog here!
Squeeky Clean were a brand I hadn’t heard too much of except for the brand name. They are slowly making a name for themselves with some amazing products in their range. You can win some on my blog here.

Another set of products that I am currently giving away (click here), Vaseline have really upped their game in recent years. Offering fantastic gift bundles packaged in gorgeous packaging, any lady would love to see these in her stocking come Christmas.

You can’t beat a good handbag for a Christmas present and they don’t have to break the bank either. This one is currently retailing at a little over £18 and it has made its way onto my wishlist!

Most of the women I know adore candles so these wax tarts are sure to go down very well! I already have a massive collection or else I’d be succumbing to temptation and buying some!

For the gentlemen

Men are notoriously hard to buy for. Socks, pants, aftershave and video games are the general consensus. What do you get the guy who seemingly has everything? Steve is very tough to buy for so he often gets a whole mismatch of goodies come Christmas Day.

Steve loves spicy things, jams and chutneys. I have already bought him something from the Butler’s Grove selection with some Amazon vouchers I had but there are so many other items to choose from – this Butler’s Grove Hot ‘n’ Spicy Collection may work its way onto my present list for his birthday in February.

If your man is anything like my Steve, then technology is a major plus point when it comes to gift giving. I know that something like this Blu-Ray Home Cinema system is on his Christmas wishlist and whilst I can’t afford it right now, it would make an awesome gift for anyone.

Another great gift idea is some skincare. How about something from the skincare range at House Of Fraser? Particularly from the Clinique range? Their Great Skin For Him products always go down incredibly well and to celebrate this, I have a set of the Great Skin To Go For Him to giveaway – just scroll to the bottom for the giveaway!

For the home

Presents for the male or female in your life can be romantic, silly or even practical. I’ve had a few things on my wishlist for a while now to make my working life a little easier – working from home isn’t always the easiest so anything that makes my job a little easier would be a great gift in my eyes.

Whilst this is meant to be a stationery cupboard, this would be fantastic for my home office. I could obviously keep my spare stationery in there but it would also be a handy place to store extra SD cards, chargers, tech stuff and even non time sensitive review products – I currently have a few review books in the cupboard of my computer desk which is falling apart so it would be great to have a place to store them without fearing them getting mixed up with my own TBR pile.

Another few items needed in my home in general are pictured above – this Fellowes Shredder has proved invaluable since it turned up. I’m always drowning under a sea of paperwork so it is nice to be able to dispose of it quickly and easily. We’ve been looking at getting a air purifier for a while now so this offering from Fellowes couldn’t have come at a better time.

Finally – enough with the practical stuff. We all love silly stuff for the home so here are a few of my favourite products from around the web:

Now, as promised – the giveaway! This giveaway ends at 23.59pm on the 17th of December and is for a Clinique Great Skin To Go gift set. UK only, all entries will be moderated and verified. No multiple entries. Complete the one mandatory entry, all following entries are optional.
Good luck!
