With the festive season fast approaching, we are all keen to make Christmas as special as we can, especially for our little ones. This year has been tough on all of us but the children have really struggled to understand what is going on – including my two. With that in mind, I was recently asked if I’d like to review Christmas Elf Penpal so I had to say yes.

What did we think?
We were sent the box with a personalised letter (we got ours addressed to both children), a Christmas colouring card, puzzles & teasers, an elf quest, free elf door and paints plus crafty activities and surprises.
The kids get their very own Elf and ours is called Jolly! The kids loved the box and all the different items inside. They loved reading all about Jolly and what he was like and they loved working together to complete the activities and puzzles too. It really got them in the festive mood.
Since then, the kids have received a few more letters, talking to them about the stuff they want for Christmas, the things they have been doing and stuff like that. They also include an activity each time and the letter always ends with an Elf Quest – this is usually something designed to show how good they are for Santa (one of them asked them to help Mummy out if she asks!). The personal details are a really nice touch and I and the kids really appreciate it.
If you are looking for the perfect way to get the kids in the festive mood, you can’t go far wrong with Christmas Elf Penpal! We really love it so far!

That is such a cute idea! My 6 yr old has a subscription to Banjo Robinson, which is a similar idea but with a cat as your penpal.
