It’s Shona from freshbeautyxox again, you might have already seen me pop up on here talking about beauty, today I’m doing another little guest post for Bex but all about what I’ve been listening to in March! I recently finally joined Spotify and I’ve been obsessed with creating my perfect playlist. I thought today I’d share some of my favourite songs that I’ve been listening to recently.

Bastille
I’ve loved Bastille for a little while now but recently I’ve been listening to them more again, their performance at the BRITS reminded me of how good they are! My favourite song of theirs has to be Pompeii but I’m loving Bad Blood as well. If you haven’t listened to them yet I’d definitely recommend their music.
Mumford & Sons
I’m always listening to Mumford & Sons but recently I’ve been listening to Lover of the Light all the time! I can’t get enough of that song.
Ellie Goulding
I really surprised myself when I fell in love with a few of Ellie’s songs as I never used to like her! I’m loving Goodness Gracious and Burn though.
We The Kings
Another band I’ve loved for a little while now, recently though I’ve gotten back into their music after watching Charles Trippy’s vlogs of the tour they are on at the moment. Their music really fits in my favourite genre of music and I could listen to Check Yes Juliet, Friday is Forever and Queen of Hearts all day long!
The Maine
Recently one of my friends, Louise (who has a blog, read here!), recommend The Maine to me after we found out we have really similar taste in music! I’m really loving listening their songs, especially Raining in Paris, Visions and Inside of You.
All Time Low
I’ve also gone back to some old favourites recently, I used to listen to ATL non stop when I was 13/14 and recently started to listening to them again. I’ve been listening to all my favourites of theirs that I loved a few years ago including Dear Maria, Count Me In and Remembering Sunday.
My Chemical Romance
This is a band that I’ll never stop loving, my Mum used to play me their music when I was younger, especially Welcome to the Black Parade which is still a big favourite of mine years later. Unfortunately they have split up now but I’m still listening to my favourites from them like Cancer, I’m Not Okay- I Promise and Famous Last Words.
Here are a few other random songs I’ve been loving as well:
Happy by Pharrell Williams, Basket Case by Green Day and Save It For The Bedroom by You Me At Six.

I often wonder if things app's and sites like Spotify will take over from mp3's soon i'm still reluctant to spend my money on MP3'S let alone subscriptions to apps lol I'm too old school !
