I was recently asked if we would like to try some of the Biscuiteers biscuit range in the run up to Father’s Day. After a brief conversation with Steve, he expressed interest in trying some and we were kindly sent a tin of the Classic Car Show biscuits, priced at £42.50.
Firstly can we discuss just how lovely this tin is? The design is gorgeous and Steve, Jack and myself were all very impressed. It is a good quality tin, quite durable and now that all the biscuits have been scoffed by Steve (with a little help from Jack), Steve is now using the tin to store something else. Waste not, want not – right?
Inside the biscuits are well presented under some green tissue paper. I loved the effort that had gone into presenting these biscuits so was hoping not to be disappointed by the biscuits themselves. So what did we think?
We needn’t have been worried as when we opened them, both Steve and Jack let out a ‘Wow!’. We were sent the Classic Car Show tin and these biscuits really did depict some classic cars. The designs on the biscuits were so intricate, it almost seemed a shame to eat them! I only got to nibble on one but Jack and Steve took great pleasure in devouring the whole box of biscuits over a couple of days and both really seemed to enjoy them.
As you can see, there weren’t just car shaped biscuits but different car related biscuits too! There were a couple of layers too so the boys definitely took some time in indulging in them. The biscuits were as they should be – tasty with just the right amount of crumbly texture. Steve was very impressed with the icing, both the taste and the incredible attention to detail. Just look at them – how wonderfully designed are they?
Would I normally spend that amount of money on a box of biscuits? Probably not – but then these aren’t just any box of biscuits, are they? They make a great gift for someone you love and there is a whole range of designs and products to choose from on the brand’s website.
