I completely forgot that I had this little sample tube until a few weeks ago! I received it at the TOWIB event way back last summer and it had got lost amongst the depths of my collection. As I am making a more conscious effort to get through my makeup and skincare collection, this popped up at just the right time and I had to give it a go.
I had been considering getting a lip exfoliator for a while. Lip exfoliating isn’t something I have done much in the past but I’ve found that the cold weather we’ve been having has really made my lips play up – and without my holy grail lip product, I felt all but lost! I was planning on treating myself to the Lush Bubblegum lip scrub or something similar but when I found this, I thought I’d see what results this could give me.
Dr Linda Papadapoulos is a well known psychologist who you may have seen plenty of times on television. She actually did a talk at last summers TOWIB about her LP Skin Therapy brand and although my memory is a little hazy as to what she said, I do remember that I was almightily impressed and couldn’t wait to try out the products.. Such is life, they got put away and forgotten about…
So how did this match up to my expectations?
Described as defining, renewing and refreshing, I found that it really did do the job well. It removes all the dead skin cells from your lips and leaves them feeling amazing. You can really feel the tiny jojoba beads at work. As shown in the picture above, all you need to do is gently massage the product on and around the lip area for 30 seconds, then remove any excess residue with some soft tissue. A little really goes a long way with this too, I have been using this fairly regularly and am only just close to finishing it up.
The £15 price point for the full size 8ml tub may seem pricey to some, but when something works so well, perhaps price shouldn’t be an issue?
