I’ve mentioned before how much Olivia loves her babies so when offered the chance to review some BABY Born Surprise sets, I thought I’d see how she got on with them.
BABY Born Surprise dolls first came out in April and were extremely successful. They are collectables and great for kids who love unboxing things and surprises. Each Surprise comes with a blanket, a swaddle and a baby bottle. You use water to wake the babies and reveal their eye colour – you’ll see below that their eyes are closed when you first unwrap them – and the baby’s bottle lets you know if they are a boy or a girl.
We were sent three from the range – so how did we get on?
The dolls come in plastic packaging and wrapped up in their blankets which is tied up at the top. Once you undo and unwrap the blanket, you will find a baby swaddled up. You then unwrap them to find the baby (with their eyes closed) and a bottle.
Olivia loved feeding her new babies! The first one we unwrapped was Sweet Swimmer. We also unwrapped Yellow Ducky and Spots. Olivia was happy to find two girls and one boy!
I think these are great little collectables. There are 10+ surprises in each one – first you take off the fabric blanket to reveal their swaddle wrap. Then wake them up by wiping their eyes and you’ll find out their eye colour- they have such big, bright and beautiful eyes! Then you get to see their hair colour, hair style and skin colour before finding out if they are a boy or a girl! Something that is also fun for little ones is that if you feed them some water they will wet their nappies and the nappies reveal a cute pattern!
There are twelve dolls to collect and Olivia is already keen to add to her collection! For ages 3+, these are a great little collectable and perfect not only for stocking fillers this Christmas but for little ones to spend their pocket money on as they are so affordable.
The blanket is super cute with all the babies faces on it and as you can see, Olivia is completely enamoured with her babies – this is before she wiped their eyes to see what eye colour they had!
She has been taking her babies everywhere – even on the school run as she loves them so much! They are the perfect size to carry around in her hand although she has been popping them in her pushchair too!

My little girl loves these dolls too, they are fab aren’t they! The little swaddles they come in are adorable and they are a great size, not too big to lug around but not too small they easily get lost. I have brought a couple for my little girls stocking this year.
Awesome! These are great stuff for collection. I bet the little girls will really love these dolls and will have so much fun nursing them. Ha ha
Interesting that you wipe their eyes to see what colour they are, I did think they looked a little odd at first! My kids would definitely have liked these when they were younger. Mich x
I love how kids are wild for unboxing now, it’s so funny. These dolls look perfect for that, such a fun surprise.
