Living in a tiny village, I tend to go to London or occasionally St Albans if I want to attend a blogger event. You can imagine my surprise when I found out there was actually going to be an event in the very village I live in!
The lovely people at the Atelier Salon and Spa invited a few local beauty bloggers to come and take a look at their new range of products and also to get some treatments done. I have been there a few times since it opened six years ago but haven’t been in since before Jack was born so was intrigued to see how much had changed.
Despite the fact I had been there a few times before, I was completely clueless to just how many rooms there were! There were different sections where we could have treatments or a chat with the team and we all made our own way around taking a look at each room. As would be expected, myself and Lisa found ourselves in the skincare room and got our skin tested, albeit with our makeup on and not cleansed off – we’d not long applied it! We were given little booklets with suggestions of which items we should try from the Pinks Boutique range which is brand new to the salon and flying off the shelves – I can testify that this stuff smells and feels amazing and I will definitely be picking some up in the not too distant future!
We also visited the nail salon and as you can see, the whole group was gathered in there at one point (the other bloggers were Emz, Lou, Hannah and Sarah). I didn’t have anything done but some of the other girls did and their nails looked incredible!
I think the majority of us took the opportunity to get our hair styled! I had a fishtail plait and loved it! We also found out about the new range of hair chalks available – Sarah got a bit too happy with one though and put it all over hand – she was then told it may stain for a while oops! Haha!
Of course, myself and Lisa also noticed the NEOM products and had to tear ourselves away!
We were treated to some lovely drinks and canapes during the evening and also some fantastic cupcakes! It was fun to see some blogging friends, visit an old haunt and to sample the new products they had to offer.
At the end of the evening, we took a group photo with some of the staff and our goodie bags! It was a truly fantastic night and I look forward to visiting Atelier again soon.
Wow it looks fabulous and as a hair lover I adore your Kipper Plait (as we call them in my neck of the woods) The treatments and all the little extras looked amazing, I bet you were all really pleased with the night xx
