I had heard a lot about ARRAN Sense of Scotland in the past so when they got in touch and asked if I would like to review some of their products, I was more than happy to. It is always nice to try new brands, especially when you’ve been hearing really good things about them.

Who are ARRAN Sense of Scotland?
A family-run company who create vibrant and evocative scents from their Home Farm factory – an old dairy farm for the historic Brodick Castle. Proudly made on the Isle of Arran and holding true to their island heritage despite how much the company has grown since its beginnings as a small family soap business.
What Did I Receive & What Did I Think?

Arran Seaweed & Sage Handwash 300ml – £13
You can never have too much handwash especially at this particular time and I was very happy to see this. It comes in a large blue bottle with a pump and looks great. To avoid leakage, the handwash comes with a clip around the pump nozzle to avoid any accidental pressure being placed down on it and any messes being made whilst it is in transit. This is easy to remove.
Scent wise, it is very fresh but quite subtle and not at all overbearing. I hate when handwashes have really overbearing scents. This is a pleasure to use and is really kind to the skin – it does not dry them out at all and is in fact quite moisturising.

Glen Iorsa Lavender & Spearmint Calming Mist 100ml – £14
A versatile spray combining lavender, geranium and sage with a little bit of spearmint, this mist can be used throughout the day or as a pillow spray at bedtime. The blend is said to aid tension reduction and encourage relaxation. This comes in a small purple spray bottle. sleek but stylish.
I have used this a few times now and have to say I do feel like I am more relaxed after using it – especially if I have used it at bedtime. I usually am not a fan of lavender scents as I find them incredibly overpowering but this one is not as overpowering as other lavender sleep scents I have used in the past and is actually quite pleasant. I have even taken to spraying it on the kids pillows just before they go to bed too!

After The Rain Lime, Rose & Sandalwood Eau De Parfum (15ml)
A girl can never have too many perfumes and this sample size of the £40 eau de parfum on the site is incredible. The notes are perfectly balanced with citrus, florals and earthier tones all combined into one. This is a wonderful everyday scent and I’ve worn it a few times now, getting good feedback each and every time.
It is not hard to see why this eau de parfum is so popular!

Glen Rosa Fig & Ylang Ylang Boxed Saddle Soap 100g – £6
Traditional and vegetable oil based, this soap is the perfect size and a great shape. I don’t use soap bars that often, preferring to use handwash but we have found ourselves using more bars of soap in recent times due to washing our hands more and what is available in the shops. This soap contains added added glycerine to moisturise and is fairly subtle in scent.
I’ve been using this in my en suite bathroom for some time now and my hands always feel less dry and much more moisturised after using it. I also love the scent – I’m a sucker for anything fig – and can’t wait to try out some of the other fig products available on the site.
Overall, I have been very impressed with the products I have tried so far from ARRAN Sense of Scotland. I especially love the handwash – not only does it keep my hands from getting dry but it smells amazing and also comes in a beautiful bottle.
Have you ever tried any products from ARRAN before?

I love the hand wash I have that in my bathroom at the moment and I definitely do need to try that pillow spray it sounds amazing! Will be buying that when my current on runs out.
I have heard of this brand before, but never tried any of their products yet. I have heard great things about them though I think I need to visit their site
I just saw these on your Instagram and had to come and have a read as I haven’t tried these before and they look and sound brilliant.
The perfume sounds lovely, it’s so nice when you get complimented on the scent you’re wearing.
I love nicely scented things and these sound good. I completely agree, I don’t like a strong smell on a bar of soap either, it hangs in the air and isn’t nice.
I think my Mother-in-law would like this range. I’ve heard good things about this brand too.
The lavender and spearmint mist sounds divine, perfect to help get through lockdown
I love that this is a family run business. The lavender and spearmint calming mist sounds great, something I could really do with
I’ve always wanted to try them! So pleased to hear that their hand wash isn’t overbearing – I’m like you on that front. I prefer subtle or more delicate scents. The calming mist sounds lovely!
I saw these advertised on instagram the other day! They do look lovely!
