Back in 2016 Sarah, the founder of You Underwear spent some time in East Africa. During this period, she volunteered for the Uganda Marathon and was shocked to discover that many people in this area were living without something so many of us take for granted – underwear.
To play her part on making underwear more accessible to all, she decided to set up a buy-one-gift-two-model with her ethical underwear company. For every pair bought by someone she gifts two pairs to the Scottish Charity Smalls for All. They then distribute the underwear to vulnerable women and children both here in the UK and across Africa.
Her business ethics however don’t stop there. You Underwear is made using GOTS Certified organic cotton, is also Fairtrade and PETA-Approved Vegan. In her wider business ethics, she works closely with India’s leading ethical manufacturer, while also embracing the principles of ethical marketing and running on a zero-waste policy. The brand also embraces body positivity.
All of the underwear is also sent presented in an exclusive and reusable cotton bag, making for an unforgettable unwrapping experience.

I’ve never heard of this company before – thanks for bringing them to my attention and for the giveaway too! I like that the underwear is made from organic cotton. The buy-one-give-two model is great too! My favourite items are the Women’s organic cotton boy shorts in black and the Women’s organic cotton bralette in black. They look so comfortable!

I really like their values, especially how they support education as it’s a cause very close to my heart.

I like the look of the organic cotton bralet. This company sounds really interesting as it’s organic, fair trade and vegan, which is so important for the environment and society.

I’d get the bralette in chestnut! Everything about their ethics sounds great, but I especially like that they gift pairs to charity to help those less fortunate.
I would buy the Women’s organic cotton low-rise bikini bottoms in black and most like the fact they pay a fair price for their raw ingredients

I like the look of the low rise bikini bottoms, not sure what colour as I don’t think it really matters as only my hubby really sees them! I love that for every pair bought they give 2 pairs to vulnerable girls and women, it make me feel good that I get nice underwear and it’s also helping others.

What’s not to like?! They donate two pairs for everyone one you buy, helping to support those who are vulnerable with education and employment, compared to the very little other clothing companies do this is amazing. I’d go for the cotton boy shorts
