It is hard to think that in September, Jack goes into the nursery up at the primary school and has to wear a uniform – I still hazily remember my first day there (and my Mum has the pictures to prove it!) and it seems odd but right that my own offspring will be going there too. Although he isn’t exactly going back to school but rather changing from preschool to nursery in a school setting, the fact that Jack will be wearing a uniform led me to choosing a few things from my go to site, Melijoe, that would suit Jack down to the ground for his back to school adventure.
My mum has gone a bit crazy buying Jack’s uniform meaning there is little left for myself and Steve to buy – but I can’t wait to see him in his uniform, I’m sure he will look all grown up and I will be really emotional. Apart from his school shirt and jumper which will have the logo on them, I’ve collated a few of my favourite items down below that I would love to buy if I could!
I can’t wait to see Jack in some smart school shoes and although the top ones are probably a little more closer to his capabilities (tying shoelaces isn’t quite on the to do list yet, but soon), I couldn’t resist sharing those on the bottom right.
Despite buying trousers with his logo shirts and jumpers, these trousers would look perfect on him – I love him in smart trousers and he will be either wearing jeans or smart trousers to my friends wedding too.
Seeing as September starts the descent into Autumn and Winter, Jack will probably be in need of a new coat – something that protects him against whatever weather Mother Nature decides to throw at him. This coat looks warm, comfy and the fluffy hood is always a bonus, right?
Finally, what does a boy going up to big school need but a new bag? This Armani rucksack would be the perfect size for the little things Jack would need to take and it looks like it would withstand a lot of wear and tear from a boisterous boy and his friends.

Aww! Those school shoes with the laces look so grown up….So cute! I think you are right though….Laces are tough for little one’s! Stick with the velcro!

What a very exciting time! I really like the look of those shoes. My son goes through shoes at a ridiculous pace so I think we need to try a different make. These look fab! I like the coat too.
