Today’s BEDM prompt is Cinco De Mayo and I actually have a review that ties in perfectly! We were recently sent a parcel of Old El Paso goodies to try out – some old favourites and some of the new items in their range.
We were sent a variety of their products in order to have the ultimate Mexican feast. Some old favourites like tacos and fajitas and then some of their fantastic new products – I was particularly interested in the One Pan Rice Meal boxes as they seemed like such an interesting concept and Steve’s face lit up at the prospect of new relishes to try – he adores jalapenos!
Inside our parcel was also some casserole recipe mixes – perfect for when you want to make something quick and easy, just use a casserole mix and some meat and veg and away you go! We decided to go all out and have a proper Mexican feast for the three of us and has fajitas and tacos for dinner one night.
We overdid it slightly on the tacos but Jack took great delight in eating them on their own..strange child! We are both fans of Mexican food but don’t eat it that often, other cuisines tend to take precedence if we have a choice. However, Mexican food is one of the simplest things to prepare in home and the new products from Old El Paso really liven up any home! Hardly any time and effort is needed to make some really yummy food and it is affordable too! You can find out more about the new Old El Paso products here – I have to say, I am very impressed. Their products just keep getting better!

YUM! Mexican is my most favorite food ever!
I'm generally quite a snob when it comes to food and tend to shun pre-packaged kits as I much prefer to do things my way, from scratch.
However, Old El Paso always manages to escape my snobbery, their kits are always SO delicious! I particularly like their quesadillas and enchiladas. Mexican food has my heart! xo
You lucky thing! I love their products!
Yum I really really want to try the one pan dishes they sound super delicious, easy and one pan means less mess which is always good!
Happy Cinco De Mayo
