So what did we think of the box?
AAGRAH Foods Lahori Tikka Mix – £1.50
We love using spice mixes like this in our cooking so we were very happy to see this. The brand is new to us but we will certainly be picking up some more of their products. We used for a curry but these are also perfect for marinades. Super tasty.
Kelloggs Coco Pops Chocos Caramel – £3.50
With this week being half term and three out of four children on solids, you can imagine that these are LONG GONE. They really enjoyed these and have asked that we get them again. They are a brand new addition to the Coco Pops family and full of flavour.
Knorr Beef Gravy Pot – £2.25
Always happy to see these included as these are a store cupboard staple. We always have Knorr products in our cupboards and these were quickly used up in our home cooking.
KADOYA Roasted Seasame Oil – £4.50
A great addition to our cupboard – we have never really used roasted sesame oil before but we have started using these in our stir frys and noodles and it is so good, adding plenty of flavour. A little really goes a long way!
IBIS Rice Organic Whole Grain Rice Cakes Original – £1.89
I’m not the biggest fan of rice cakes but my toddler Hannah loves them, whether flavoured or not! These are a great snack for her and I sometimes slather some peanut butter on for some additional flavour to the crunch. These are light and crunchy and she really enjoys them!
Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Chicken soup – £1.50
I’m not going to lie – I do usually choose another soup brand when it comes to my lunches but this was lovely – you just need to add water or milk to make it perfect for a quick lunch or to add to a recipe such as a casserole.
Aqua Libra Sparkling Infused water (raspberry & blackcurrant) – £1.30
I’m not a sparkling water fan so pass these over to Steve for work. The flavour is pretty decent but what makes these great is the lack of sugar, sweeteners or anything artificial.
Mutti Polpa Chopped Tomatoes – £1.53
Chopped tomatoes are another store cupboard staple! We always have some as they make the base of so many meals! We have used this brand before adn we will vertainly use them again. The product is unique as it combines the finely cut pulpy part of the tomato with the juice!
Pringles Hot Blazin’ Fried Chicken flavour – £2.50
These are a new addition to the Pringles Hot range. They are said to be hotter than your average crisp but I (a self confessed hotness wimp) didn’t find them too hot and my two year old absolutely adored them! We will definitely pick these up again!
Cheez-It Double Cheese – £2
These are the Product of the Month and are certainly the standout product for us this month! We have tried these before and bought them again and again and again. These are so thin and crispy but utterly moreish and they just leave you wanting more and more. These baked snacks are so good, we will always buy these!
Overall this was an absolutely fantastic box, we have used or will use everything and it has been great for snacks and meals over this chaotic half term. The contents come to over £22 which, again, makes it fantastic value when you consider how much use I have got out of all of the products!
Which item would you try first?
Those Coco Pops are new to me, I think my girls would love them.
The Knorr pots are fab, I always have some in our cupboard.
I only started using roasted sesame oil because of our Gousto meals and now I wouldn’t cook a stir fry without it now.
