It’s Tuesday which means…it’s Life In A Lockdown day!
If you’ve been here before, you’ll remember that the idea came from Jenni and Sarah and I was kindly asked to come on board. I’ve been sharing my thoughts and feelings over the past few months so here I am once again.
Should you want to link up with us, the rules for linking up with us are pretty simple. All we ask is that you link back to me and Sarah in your post as we are the hosts and then answer the questions that we too answer every week. Once you’ve added your post, submit it via the Inlinkz tool at the bottom of the post!
Here are the questions:
1) How are you feeling/coping?
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
3) What do you think the coming weeks and months might hold for you (or the world)?
4) If you could remind yourself something about this time in years to come what would it be?
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.
6) What is a unique (or not) technique you have used to get you through this time?
7) What is something your readers might not know about you?
8) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?

1. How are you feeling/coping?
I am doing okay. I’ve got used to being back in lockdown now, to be quite honest.
2. What have you been up to over the last 7 days?
Helping the kids with home schooling, some virtual assistance work, some freelance writing, blogging, changing the look of this blog (tell me what you think in the comments!), having fun in the snow and doing another virtual murder mystery – which we guessed correctly! Do you want me to write a post about my experiences and the company I do these with? I have paid for each mystery with my own money and would love to share their good work with you!
I also read Emma’s post about life as a stay-at-home parent to a child with special needs.
3. What do you think the coming weeks (or months) might hold for you (or the world)?
I don’t know and I am not sure if I really want to think about it.
4. If you could remind yourself something about this in years to come, what would it be?
That, as much as home schooling and being in each other’s pockets 24/7 can be super stressful, it is important to cherish the time we are spending together.
5. What have you bought this week that others might like?
More books – as always! I’ve also bought this new theme for the blog!
6. What is a unique (or not!) technique you have used to get through this time?
I honestly don’t know – I can’t keep saying virtual murder mysteries or reading, can I? How about rewatching old favourites such as Brooklyn 99, New Girl, The Good Place etc?
7. What is something your readers might not know about you?
I have quite a few Agatha Christie books – I still need to complete my collection but I am almost there!
8. What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
My family and books.

It is getting to be normal being in lockdown, I struggle with meetings and trying to get things sorted. I would love to know moe about your Murder Mystery that you do as think this would be great fun to do
I am getting stressed with the homeschooling. I have been doing less work, as the kids need to use the laptop to do their school work on.
Isn’t it crazy that we’ve actually got so used to being in lockdown now – it truly is the new normal as of now. A few of my friends who are mothers are tearing their hair out due to homeschooling lol
Got to look at positives – reading is a good way to feel better – I have been watching old series on tv too
I think like you, I have gotten used to being in lockdown that it doesn’t phase me much already my days are now blurred into 1
I love the new blog theme, the blue colour feels so optimistic and bright for the future!
I honestly think when we come out of lockdown it will be really hard to go back to “normal” as none of us will be used to being around people.
