Fun In The Snow

Did you have snow where you are today? We had a snow day and couldn’t wait to get out there! Buddy was seeing snow for the very first time – and he loved it! He was so excited, bouncing and leaping everywhere and trying to catch it and eat it! You can see just how excited he was over on his Instagram here.

We haven’t been going out much recently – obviously we can’t go out much because of lockdown but we haven’t even really been going out for exercise or to the shops so it was nice to get out and blow the cobwebs away. We stayed close to home – simply walking up the bridleway that backs onto our road and going into the big field off of the bridleway. There was no one there so the kids and Buddy could run to their hearts content, throw snowballs and try and build a snowman!

After a few weeks of uncertainty and feeling a little bit meh, this was just what we needed to cheer us up! We were sensible, staying close to home, and not taking any risks and it felt good to be out together as a family – especially seeing how much Buddy loved it!

We did finally manage to make a little snowman at home but didn’t have anything for his facial features so Steve used dog treats. Lo and behold, he doesn’t have a face anymore because Buddy got to him, haha!

How has your day been?

It’s so nice that the snow seemed to be able to perk people up a lot after a dull January of lockdown. We had plenty of snow but we enjoyed watching it from inside and didn’t head out x

We have had quite a bit of snow which is always nice for children. Great snowman.

  4. Awww this is so lovely, I wish I went out in the snow, we had a lot here and it still hasn’t completely melted.

Looks like lots of fund – can’t beat a bit of a snow!

  6. I love the snow but I had no fun in it this time around – just a very long walk home from work as I had to abandon the car in the work car park.
